This hotel is perfect for road trips or independent travelers. It has a large parking lot, is very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, and has a bus stop nearby with buses to nearby major cities costing only €1.65. The owner is very welcoming, the breakfast is plentiful, and there's a large courtyard where you can swim and sunbathe if you don't want to go out. If you want to visit Sanmao's former residence, it's about a 3-kilometer walk away.

Staff at the hotel were welcoming and courteous. Can’t fault the hotel in any way, spotlessly clean and nice room.
It is a bit out of the way so a car is recommended but as a base to get around it is perfect. 5 minutes to the GC1 which links the capital Las Palmas to the sunny resorts and beaches in the south, about a 30 minute drive away.

Hidden Gem!
We were so pleasantly surprised with how clean and lovely Valtisya House was. The best, however was the help we received from Juan at check in. He went above & beyond in arranging an early taxi for us and made sure all went well, helped us to our room and gave great directions for places in the neighborhood.
