What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!

Great place for walkers
Great location, the South West Coast Path goes right past the entrance. Nicely styled room and a good sized bed (King). The matress wasn't very comfortable for me, although my (much lighter) companion thought it was fine. The shower was great; hot and a good flow. The bathroom was small and needs redecorating. Breakfast was excellent.

Thanks to Jane and Chris for a wonderful break at Newberry Beach Lodge, the perfect place to relax and unwind, such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, lovely room with sea view, and sound of the waves. Really enjoyed my stay. My friend Mrs Fish loved it too.

Newberry Beach Lodge is a quirky, homely place to stay, which is quiet. We stayed in room 4, which had a comfortable bed and a lovely sea view for one night. The ensuite had a roll top bath, which unfortunately we didn't have time to try. Shower gel and shampoo supplied. Tea, coffee making facilities with milk in the fridge in a connecting small room. Breakfast choices were done the evening before. We had a lovely Full English with toast, orange juice and coffee.

Welcoming, friendly home-from-home
Such a warm welcome. A friendly, comfortable home-from-home in the most beautiful location, right by the beach.
We were lucky enough to stay in the family suite which has 2 bedrooms & a bathroom - much nicer than all squeezing into one hotel room!
Delicious & very generous breakfast.
Our children loved the owners dogs!

Definitely recommended!
Wholly recommend this B&B. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the accommodation is incredibly comfortable and it feels like staying with family. The breakfast is delish too. Lovely room with a lovely view. Would love to come back!

Our family of 10 were attending a family wedding at Sandy Cove, a 5 minute drive from Newberry Beach. The whole experience was great. The communication from the hosts was good & they were warm & friendly. They were able to provide a gluten free breakfast. The house is really unique with lots of homely touches. Each room was different & all had views of the sea. I woudn't hesitate to stay there again.
