I cant fault the staff or the food but the hotel itself looks tired especially the bedroom and the swimming pool and would be incredible if it was refinished to a higher standard. For example, the shower head was covered in lime scale, the hair dryer was broken and some of the second fixings are worn and broken. Despite this, I would stay there again as we had a very enjoyable visit.

Presentation dinner . FOOD EXCELLENT. ROOM ARRANGEMENTS FIRST CLASS. The attention of staff to support arrangements was of the highest standard. All appreciated by Northern Ireland Schools FA. The programme of the evening and service staff extremely efficient .

If you get put in room 771, ask to be moved. It is insufferably loud, with a mechanical noise that repeats all day and all night long, interrupting sleep. Watch your step when you enter the hotel, the carpet saga and lip is a tripping hazard. Breakfast is mediocre and I’d skip the eggs - they’re basically rubber.

Great stay , but only thing that was a let down was the breakfast, arrived at 9.30am hardly anything left & it was cold.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend to stay there. I would look for another accommodation its 4 star 🌟 rayed but its certainly no more than 2 2.5 it doesn't come across as a 4 star hotel

Ok so my wife and myself booked to stay 2 nights at the La Mon Country Club for a wedding and travelled from Lancashire in the uk / We are both very well traveled and have stayed in many many places of varios star ratings and to be Fair we where not disappointed with the La Mon Our Check was excellent and the staff where so Friendly which is a rare quality nowadays / everything was explained and nothing was to much trouble / We booked a superior room which was nice and spacios and ate at the hotel out first night and the quality was very good / Breakfast we I don’t think we have ever had a better or warm felt greeting and shown around the buffet with everything explained in a lovely and attentive manner very impressed The service and standard was maintained threw out our trip and when shifts changed nothing was compromised / Check out was again Nice and Friendly and we where left sat in the car discussing the fact we will no doubt return Thank you to everyone we met over the weekend and all the staff that went that extra mile to make our stay so nice We will see you all again soon Nobby and Fiona’s
