Very friendly staff, accomodating and very nice

We had a wonderful time at the Landmark Inn. This was a Christmas gift for my Dad, who is an avid baseball fan. The beautiful inn was a gift for my mother. I was so so pleased with our stay. I am generally a VRBO person, but this place was ideal. Our room was so lovely and it was always clean and tidy. We had a charcuterie board with wine delivered ahead which was great. The place smelled great and the coffee was wonderful. I wish I had Vita’s delicious breakfast every morning at home! Elizabeth and Terry were so sweet and fun to visit with. Nick was helpful with check in, and when I had to call John after hours with a stupid question he was so kind. The Landmark really made our Baseball Hall of Fame trip extra special.

Our time at the Landmark Inn was a wonderful experience. When my husband and I arrived, Nick the Innkeeper, opened the door to welcome us in. He showed us to our room, which has a private entrance at the back of the Inn, offered assistance and graciously answered many questions during our stay. Throughout our stay we were introduced to staff and owners and everyone made us feel at home and like family. It was easy to see that the care being given was very sincere. The Inn is beautiful inside and out. It has all the "old time" comforts you hope for and also conveniences of modern technology. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and had many amenities. We greatly appreciate that the Landmark has wonderful 1st floor rooms, as well, for those of us with mobility limitations. The breakfasts were so enjoyable, beautifully presented and served with much care. We were sorry to only be staying 2 days and miss seeing what great creation would be served next. Coffee, tea and snacks are available throughout the day. When we returned home, I realized that I was missing the Landmark and those who make it special. We will definitely go back when able. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Treat yourself to the Landmark Inn experience, you won't be disappointed!

This has been my absolute favorite place I have ever stayed!!! Gorgeous room with an amazing shower and sauna in suite!! The breakfasts were on delicious and were high quality!! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I will gladly recommend the Landmark Inn to anyone visiting Cooperstown!

Every moment of our stay was memorable. We pulled in and didn't even have to open the door; Nick was opening it to greet us. He is the perfect person to be working the front desk in an inn...he was helpful, pleasant, full of good information, and I had the best time just sitting and chatting with him. I'd notified the staff that I was there to celebrate my fiancé's 50th birthday, and they had special homemade chocolate truffles waiting for him in the room. Our suite, the Chance, was directly off the parking lot and that was very convenient. The room was spotless and the bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. As I told Nick, I was ready to move in to the amazing shower, and my 6'7" fiancé was quite happy about the fact that he could actually stretch out in the jacuzzi tub. I didn't reserve the 6" inches of snow we received this weekend, but it made the town - and the inn - so beautiful. Quite a few restaurants closed early due to the weather (or were already closed for the season), but Nick and John recommended a great Italian restaurant that was perfect for a birthday dinner. In fact, everything they recommended to us was perfect. On the first morning we were served challah bread French toast with fresh cooked apples & raisins on top with delicious bacon and the best hot chocolate I've had in ages. Apparently Vita, the chef in residence, wasn't able to get in due to weather but that didn't stop the rest of the staff from providing us with an excellent way to start our day. On the second morning we had an egg and cheese herb souffle with brown sugar sausage and homemade applesauce. We definitely hated to leave and will be back again as soon as we are able.

Words can not express how impressed I was with the quality of service the Landmark Inn offers. Due to the nature of my work, I rarely get to go on vacation. As a New Yorker, I take every opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fellow New Yorkers, if you are willing to take a 3 and a half hour drive up north, I guarantee the Landmark Inn will give you an experience where although you aren't at home, you will still feel as if you are. From the decor to the most hospitable staff, the Landmark Inn provides you with an experience similar to visiting family, which the staff made me feel I was. Vita - Thank you for the delicious breakfasts you provided each morning. Terry - Your hospitality and professionalism are most appreciated. Thank you! Nick - Thank you for your warm welcome and especially for your patience as we arrived much later than expected. To Elizabeth, Amy, and Aislinn - although I didn't interact with you as much, I'm sure we will see you the next time we're in the area. A special thank you to Keith and John! A BIG thank you to both of you and your amazing staff that made my days off a special experience, especially since I rarely have time off.

The Inn is beautiful, the people who run it are even better. I felt as if I was visiting a family friend during my stay. Keith and John took time to speak with all of us individually during our stay. Nick was the perfect InnKeeper, ensuring we knew about the house and the little things like where to get a cup of tea in the evening. The ladies in the kitchen “ knocked it out of the park”. The breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and served piping hot. I can’t wait to return. Thanks to the entire staff for making it a wonderful experience.

My wife and I decided on a last-minute, mid-week getaway to Cooperstown. We were fortunate enough to find the Landmark Inn on Tripadvisor. The Landmark in was one of the nicest, cleanest, places my wife and I have ever stayed. The owners were in constant communication with us from the start. We received a text 4 hours before check-in telling us our room was ready and asking if we needed anything. We were greeted by the owners who took their time in showing us the property and answering all of our questions. The Inn is walking distance to the downtown shopping areas and many restaurants, as well as the Baseball Hall of Fame. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best. I would recommend the Lanmark Inn to anyone traveling in the Cooperstown area.

My husband and I planned a four day getaway to Cooperstown and we stayed at The Landmark Inn. This was our third visit here. We are always so impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of this establishment. The daily breakfast prepared by Chef Vita are creative and delicious. The staff is so friendly…they can’t do enough for you! We stayed in the Metcalf Suite and the room was spacious and immaculate. The bed is super comfortable and the sheets are amazingly soft. We look forward to returning for our fourth visit in the near future.
