I liked the environment very much. The food was gorgeous and the service excellent.
The rooms were very small and the bathroom actually without hot water, which my husband especially disliked.
A little cold at night , but with the heater it was ok.

Beautiful area. Cabins nuce. Chef is incredible! Dinner was amazing. Ficus hike moderate, lots of ups and downs, like most of costa rica. Coffee and avocado farm interesting. Arranged a successful Quetzales tour.
Other lodges in the area have bird feeders with fruit and Hummingbird nectar. Cedrela does not. Hot water in shower was hit and miss.

Fantastic place , we booked the lodge so we could birdwatch around the area , set in the cloud forest woke up to bird song every morning,the breakfast are delicious we only ate one evening one night but was also delicious,rooms are clean but basic,as there alodge, staff friendly,ideal retreat to relax or explore

It is not worth traveling from San José to visit Copey to stay at Cedrela, the restaurant I think there are better in San José. The service actually leaves a lot to be desired. We do not recommend it. There are better places in Copey, the area if too beautiful.

We did not rate it excellent because the room is small and is not of a good standard, there are air leaks everywhere and it is very unpleasant at night in the mountains, it is cold with l the air on your head all night and the little heater is of no use, the bed is very small 140 cm it's the first time in Costa Rica, you should make an effort on the room. The site is superb and very well maintained. The dinner and breakfast are excellent and worthy of an excellent French chef, we appreciated the mix of Costa Rican and French flavors, congratulations once again to the excellent chef and his team who thanks to their skills raise the level very much . We were able to admire and photograph the Quetzal, unforgettable memories, thanks to Oscar.

Superbe découverte ! L’équipe du lodge est jeune, sympathique, réactive, discrète ! Un vrai plaisir. Le restaurant sert de très bons plats, on s’est régalé ! Dans notre chambre, la cheminée est très intime… magnifique ! Nous recommandons chaleureusement. Et il y a de superbes randonnées autour.
