My partner Liezel and I stayed at the The Old House recently before flying from Gatwick Airport.We were warmly greeted on arrival and we were showed to our room which was a good size and had a lovely King Size bed. We had a lovely roast meal in the evening and the breakfast in the morning was also very good and the lady serving us was very friendly and personable. All the Staff we met at the Hotel were very good and we had a great stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Excellent stopover. Such an old and interesting inn. Very comfortable and clean room, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast Only problem was the creaking from timbers/floorboards above room. Close to airport but not much airport noise.

Had a fantastic stay here prior to an early flight. Lovely welcome and we ate in the pub which was delicious-highly recommend and the service was excellent too. We needed to leave too early for breakfast and the team were kind enough to put a little continental pack together for us. Will absolutely stay again in future

Probably should not be open Sunday night for hotel as bar closes at 6 and no food after 4 which was a surprise. Poor breakfast with a bacon sandwich inexplicably including balsamic vinegar. Taxi to and from hotel (to Gatwick)£25-£30 each way.

Loved my stay for one night before a flight! It was so perfect - the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly. Will for sure be coming back!

Toilet started bubbling raw sewrage overnight, unable to take a shower next morning due to smell and not sure where the sewrage had landed in the bathroom. After a long flight, not great. Informed housekeeper next morning, this had been reported previously, nothing done and they still rented the room, pure negligence. No response to written complaint what so ever. Plus side was the breakfast was nice, would not recommend as this company put their clients at risk.
