Coral Cove Resort

The light in the stove hood didnt work along with the 4 lights in the bedroom/spa area. 3 of the bulbs were missing and the one that was there didnt work. Poor. Dryer worked only if you had 2 pieces of clothing in it. Took over 12 hours to dry our washing. Extremely Poor. No scourer in the sink/cleaning utensils yet you wanted the pots and pans cleaned before leaving???? Why in these days of COVID-19 do you/are you allowed to have guests clean the apar**ent for next guests before leaving? We cleaned the dishes, untensils etc before using because we dont trust other guest to do it properly. The room spa bath didnt work and had a sign advising as such yet we werent told before hand and still paid and expected a spa room!!! No TV in the second bedroom and obviously had been removed as the bracket was still there? The fire extinguisher outside didnt have a certified check PLUS the housing was badly rusted and the instructions were so faded they were unreadable? is this place checked regularly by Fire Dept for compliance? The restaurant at the resort was closed and yet the website says the resort has a restaurant. Extremely poor and false advertising. Website says you provide Foxtel - Nope NO FOXTEL in our apar**ent. These dislikes are actually very easy for you to fix yet seem to be neglected. 1/ Update your website and state that your restaurant is CLOSED yet you advertise on your website "Having recently undergone extensive renovations, our food & beverage facilities provide the perfect setting to relax and enjoy fine food and service, amongst our most envied ocean front view." RUBBISH. 2/ Have your maintenance people check and replace bulbs (its pretty easy) . 3/ provide appliances that actually work properly. I'm sure you've already been advised. 4/ If you dont have FOXTEL then dont advertise that you do - False advertising. Would have loved to politely tell management of these problems we encountered during our 2 night stay but even though it was check out time (10am) the door was locked and no one answered our knocks. QUESTION: Would we stay again. Nope not likely despite the comfortable bed and initially feeling like it was a value apar**ent.

Come here because my son needed surgery and we had ti stay close by for 2 weeks. We arrived they didn’t have out booking but the golf pro at the gold shop said he could give us a room but not at the price we booked. We were given room 26 which I found out later the good pro was actually the owner of this room. Upon arrival of the room, there was only two towels, two plates, only sheets on the beds no blankets, bathroom was mouldy and smelly, the floor was dirty, the drier didn’t work. After I complained they gave me thin itchy blankets which were thin, we were cold. They dropped off a Mop a regular bucket and a broom - no disinfectant & no offer to clean the room. I ended up borrowing a vaccum from the neighbor I was almost in tears as my little boy was in surgery and here I am cleaning a filthy room. I was told to walk accross the grass to the shed if I needed a working dryer. I tried to get alternate accommodation but since it was around school holidays we had to suck it up. We slept with the glass door open the first night and woke up the next day the room was covered in dust - we have a crawling baby so this is not ideal. As soon as I knew my little boy was ok, we left which was after 5 nights! I will NOT recommend or go back to this resort.
