My boyfriend and I loved our experience at Under Canvas Glacier. Good location near the national park, attentive staff and clean accommodations. We used the grill to make dinner, enjoyed the campfire and got snacks from the cafe.

Under Canvas was a great place to stay when visiting Glacier Park. The glamping experience is a fun way to be outdoors with nature, yet still having the comforts of a bed and warm shower. The staff is very friendly and provides great customer service. My family and I had a really fun time staying here!

My wife and I had a blast during our first Under Canvas experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. Special shout-out to our friend Deb, who even came to see me play a concert at The Great Northern in Whitefish along with Kat. We had fun playing cornhole, getting to know other guests by the fire making smores, and they had some killer live music on Friday night. Saw lots of people enjoying the grills and cooking their own food, but wanted to include a special shout-out to the Dew Drop Inn across the street... great burger, wings, beer, and friendly peeps. The bathrooms were always clean and it was pretty sweet to take a hot shower while camping. Our tent was nice and big and it was fun to build a fire in the stove at night to keep us warm. We look forward to trying some other Under Canvas locations in the future!

Had the Deluxe tent, shower and bath (almost $600/night) Nicely appointed tents, but the beds were anything but comfortable, bed springs squeak all night long, mattress felt like it came from Motel 6. But the biggest issues, noise! What they don’t mention about this place when booking is the noise from traffic and regular trains. Horrible! A downtown LA hotel room is more quiet. Traffic and trains for hours, it’s anything but peaceful and soon forget your in “Big Sky” country. Overall disappointed and very expensive.

This was an amazing experience if you are looking for accommodations that are different and unique. This is not just sleeping in a tent. It is staying in a glamorous tent with seating, comfortable beds, wood stove, lanterns, and a bathroom area with showers that have personal bathrooms and showers and are very clean with towels. They offer activities at night with games and s'mores. The tent lodge has food to purchase and games to play for adults and children. The people who work here are the most incredible hosts I have ever met. I had an experience where I needed help and they all jumped in to help in any way they could. I have never been as impressed with a place and its people, as I was with Under Canvas. The best part - looking up at all the twinkling stars at night while sitting around the group campfire, laughing, eating, and chatting. (I was at the one in Coram MT, just outside West Glacier)

Some people in my family think we can be traditional campers, but they are wrong! So, Under Canvas Glacier was the perfect experience for all of us! My kids (ages 14 and 11) loved having the kids tent on their own and slept through the major thunderstorm one night and the train whistles. They made friends at the fire pit that they played with each night. Our deluxe tent was beyond perfect- clean, spacious, super comfortable bed, with all the amenities including two battery packs, battery powered lights for getting ready for bed, and running water for a toilet, sink, and pull chain shower (yes, the water was warm!!). Because it's still a camp site, we were not expecting total quiet and enjoyed hearing kids and families laughing and enjoying well into the evening, especially with the very late sunset. The train whistles throughout the night were a surprise to us- the kids and husbands traveling with us slept through them, the moms did not. But we got complimentary ear plugs the second night and then we didn't hear a thing! We also didn't realize ahead of time that the breakfast and dinner items would only be cold items. Next time we will plan ahead and bring in BBQ items for one night and use the grills. Complimentary smores packs, coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, and Path water bottles (as well as a refill stations) available 24 hours. The staff was helpful when we needed golf cart rides to help get our cooler of beverages to/from the fire pits and our tent. Don't forget to lock all of your food in your car (drinks can stay in the tent). Absolutely loved our stay and my kids will remember our time there forever! REserve your vehicle pass and Going to the Sun Road pass 120 days in advance and plan to wake up early to beat the traffic. It will be worth it! We had an amazing stay.

Very unique experience. We stayed in a bigger tent with The bathroom and shower which made a nice difference. We did get cold one night but that was because of our poor fire building skills. What stood out so much here was the customer service. Every single person there helped us any way they could. Volunteered to do things, brought us needed things even when it was late, helped with luggage. I mean they went above and beyond what you would expect and never seemed annoyed. Always smiling and happen. One lady especially, her name was Deborah, did so much for us. Even came to help with the fire.

The staff are great. The property maintained well but they need to resolve a few items to consider this Clamping. There is a level 2 fire ban which means you have no heat as the stoves can not be lit. Sorry 40 and 50 degrees is tough for $500 a night. The water is not mixed meaning only hot in the room and a walk of 10 mins to fill your thermas. they will pick you up in Cute golf cart and Chuck is mice. Too cold if not heat backup so we will unfortunately not return.
