Ordered a sunday roast, beef with all the trimmings.. £10.70, I think. I went to pick it up and it was presented to me in a cardboard tray, kinda thing, nice touch!. Got it home and WOW. Absolutely lush. And there was enough for one huge meal.. In the past couple of months I've tried The C.F (4 out of 10), the Sh Ho. (4 out of 10.. This place gets 8 out of 10 from me. I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THIS PLACE AGAIN. Thank you..

For the price you pay, you get everything you need. It's definitely at the budget end, obviously, but clean and the staff go above and beyond to be helpful

Awful, staff were great but the place is very run down. In the room, kettle was full and in an unlit area. Electric radiator didn’t work, shower was a trickle. No hot breakfast available.

I would like to say it’s been amazing here the rooms are lovely the food is amazing and the staff are absolutely fantastic and would like to say a massive thank you to them the bar managers are amazing and so are the team thank you again guys I love it

As per usual, the food was fantastic. The item my husband ordered was unavailable, but the staff were super. He chose something else and it was lovely. I can't fault the service or the food. Never had a bad meal here. Also, the afternoon tea is well worth a visit.

We as a family were very happy with the Chris**as day lunch that they provided, there was plenty of food on the plates and it was so nice, it was hot and promptly brought out, the staff were very professional and there was a pleasant a**osphere...we had to leave straight after pudding due to going to the hospital to visit my mum, so I didn't get to thank all the staff for there lovely service, So thank you all for a lovely lunch , i will definitely recommend The Raven . Went for lunch last Monday with friends. Staff were really friendly and helpful, really nice food and warm a**osphere, found the prices really good too. They really do go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Will be back soon :)
