This is an absolutely amazing boutique hotel. The room was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. The owners were fantastic hosts and the hotel is an amazing museum worth seeing. The hotel alone is worth a to visit Cordoba. This is a hidden gem that is on my list to return to. There are only three rooms so don't miss out.

El Hotel Virreinato es una casa que cuenta con tres habitaciones y un departamento. Ambientado con antigüedades hacen que la estancia sea muy grata. Está ubicado excelentemente en el centro de la ciudad, en una calle peatonal, silenciosa, sólo se escucha el repiqueteo de las campanas que anuncian el paso del tiempo. La atención es muy buena. Esperamos que sus dueños restauren los magníficos objetos que reciben a los huéspedes. La visita guiada fue muy interesante.

Service: very friendly and helpful Rooms: unique with all its art Cleanliness: good Breakfast: fine Location: central Price: a bit overpriced Wifi: could be slightly better I honestly can say that this was an unique experience. A lot of art and with a lot I mean a lot. It felt like we were sleeping in a museum instead of a hotel. We had a small tour in the hotel so that was fun as well. So much history in one place. Very central location. The ladies that helped us during our stay were very friendly. They helped us with cash and car stuff. A cool place for a night or two!

I stayed at the hotel for 14 days. I felt more like a house guest than an anonymous hotel guest. The hotel itself of course is like a museum and a Time Machine. But what makes this hotel truly special is the amazing staff here. From the hotel owner Graciela, to the hotel manager Agustina, to Ana Rocio the part time receptionist/concierge, to Julieta and Andreas the hotel housekeepers, every single one of them went out of their way to make me feel truly welcome. They are so kind and so hospitable it was really special. They even accommodated my breakfast requests. Of all the hotels in Córdoba, it is my honest belief that Virreinato has the best location. It is in the Jesuit Block, next door to the opera house and the biggest mall in Córdoba. It is within walking distance to almost everything. Finally, one day I visited Museo del Cuarteto and accidentally locked myself in the bathroom since the lock was inoperable. I banged on the door for a long time but no one heard me. I called Agustina who told me she would call the museum. A few minutes later she showed up in person!! That is what you call devotion and professionalism.
