Large hotel, catering mainly to conferences and larger gatherings. Not a bad place, but lacks a little soul, if you are not a rather large group of people. A nice restaurant connected to the hotel. Rooms were a bit dated and location is a little bit far for a walk down town. But I wouldn’t mind going back.

One year wedding anniversary. Had our wedding and wedding anniversary with Rochestown Park hotel. They went above and beyond to make both our days the most special days ever 🥰 food service and everything was amazing. Couldn’t recommend it enough 🥰

Unbelievable establishment, I came here for a wedding and must say I was blown out of the water with this hotel, the wedding reception was very enjoyable as well as the meal. I went to the reception desk where I was talking to a very insightful and knowledgeable professional that was Kimberley the receptionist who was very helpful with helping myself and my partner order a taxi and gave us directions to the local area of Douglas and great suggestions for food in the area, 5 star service. Thank you Kimberley. Brilliant hotel.

Visited the health and leisure centre on Sunday evening with the intent to become a member. God knows why I even thought about joining! The place is so old fashioned and for the price I could get better elsewhere. Starting with the gym, carpets are ripped and the machines sound awful and are outdated. The pool looked decent enough. The receptionist could not have been ruder, she could not understand any questions I asked, she was overall unprofessional and seemed to not have a clue what she was doing. Honestly it baffles me how people spend their money in this facility. Just giving my honest opinion for those who might be considering joining

Booked our Daughters Confirmation dinner here in the Oak Suite. We were greeted on arrival by Danielle who was our designated go to person on the day. Danielle was very professional throughout the afternoon and evening. Our server was Oliver, and I cannot speak highly enough of him for outstanding table service and general attention to every request. He even asked if it was acceptable that he take a 30 minute break while his colleague looked after us. The menu for the day was outstanding accommodating every pallet and the food served was delicious. It was a pleasure to bring our family and friends to such a professional and homely venue for such an important occasion. We would highly recommend the RPH to anyone who appreciates good food and service in a quality setting. Billy Rachel and family.

This hotel is not great if you are a couple/friends staying a night as a getaway. I feel like this hotel cares more about its functions than its guests. Room was fine except tv is from 1784 and remote does not even work. Our tv also stopped working too. The cocktails were horrible and were made in less than a minute when anyone can tell you a good cocktail you would wait for it. There was about 5/6 functions on here on a Friday in April and the place was just way too chaotic. The leisure centre was the same. Way too hectic. I asked for no eggs on my breakfast as I am allergic and I still have a fried egg on my plate when my breakfast arrives. In saying that the breakfast was still decent. This hotel seems perfect if you want a wedding/family event/ or a formal function like a ball, but for couples who want to get away for the night I highly recommend booking elsewhere.

Very dissapointing. Busy reception, check in took a long time. Had to make camp bed ourselves after it had been left outside the room. Matress was awful and in 2 halfs, not very comfortable at all. Food was nice for breakfast, although very limited. Overall dated facilities would not stay again. Staff were lovely, seemed very busy.

Was a nice stay but just a few bits that were odd for a four star hotel, there were no anti slip mats in the bath or shower nor was there a plug for the bath, the bathroom door is see through, the room was warm but the heating system didn’t seem to work, the tv is dated. Breakfast was lovely but the floor staff are run off their feet as it’s entirely table service, a mix may work better as in a self service continental buffet and table service hot breakfast. The breakfast staff are so polite and professional it’s a shame to see them pushed to the limit. We did enjoy the stay but an over haul and a touch base with staff may be in need

My family stayed here for 2 nights arriving 29 March. Room allocated (214) was very pleasant and spotless. The staff at reception were professional and fun to chat to. We had 2 evening meals in Sextons and both were lovely. We enjoyed our swim in the pool. My daughter had missed the Easter Egg hunt and when I mentioned this when checking out the staff handed me 2 Easter Eggs. My daughter was over the moon. A great time was had by all and we would happily stay again.
