I brought my friend for a spa weekend for her birthday. When we checked in at 3pm there was a horrible smell of vomit in the room. I called the manager Tiago he said there were no other rooms available and sent up an AIR FRESHENER to.cober the smell.. we were shocked. but being optimistic we left the windows opened and went to the spa hoping it would get better.. after 2 hours it had actually gotten worse. Rhere was a flower/vomit xmell now. The manager said he would come up to the room but after 20 minutes we couldn't stand the smell any longer. There was stains on the floor under the table at the bin and under the table at the door of the balcony and as it was a warm day you can only imagine how bad the smell was getting. We went to reception and after many back and forths with the manager he begrudgingly refunded us and we were left to go find another hotel at 7pm on a bank holiday weekend. We booked into the River Lee Hotel. Its 15 minutes away. They were so nice especially after hearing what we had just been through. We were offered nothing in the way of and apology from the Maryborough. I emailed and my friend called but no one has gotten back to us. Its so very disappointing.

Top of the range and can't believe only a 4 star hotel, it certainly felt is was more. From the dim lighting, rich colour palette and well maintained gardens, it was like we were tuucked away in the middle of a forest with everything we needed. Fabulous hotel

This is an overrated 4 star hotel in a great location with some clear high points. Unfortunately the breakfast and service by 70+% of the staff was sub-par at best. Our food quality and service at our evening meal saved the day

We were guests at a fabulous wedding on Friday, wow what a do, and the team and service at the hotel really made the wedding special, Charles, Connor, Ryan, were standout! so helpful and made sure everyone was looked after respectfully. Highly recommend the hotel, they are obviously the best event hotel in town!

My mams 60th birthday was celebrated in bellinis restaurant 4th may 24.. From start to finish the staff were attentive polite and so professional x The food although my mam brother daughter and son got varying foods from the set menu none of us could fault their fantastic food and my son has varying food allergies and cant eat gluten and they catered so well for him letting him enjoy the celebratiin as we did.. Will be returning 100%
