The number one hotel in Cork, with an excellent location, the river lee is right under the window, and the breakfast is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk to the National University of Ireland Cork and an 8-minute walk to the British Market.

Nice place. Would definitely stay here again. Cozy accommodations - very fan$y restaurant with few options.
All the soap/shampoo/lotion - freebies contain lemon and citrus - good unless you're allergic (one of our party was) - but safely avoided them.

Our stay at the River Lee was fabulous. The staff are most accommodating and friendly. Anything we needed was provided promptly with a friendly smile. If I return to Cork again in the future I will definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From check in to check out, top notch! Bed, bedding and pillows so comfy. Scones and all food we had there great.

Loved this hotel, they had a lovely restaurant with a great cocktail menu. we went for lunch and i had the steak sandwich which was very tasty! Service was amazing and all the staff were so friendly, will definitely recommend to friends to stay here when in cork

My husband had a work trip so I traveled along for a brief holiday. The River Lee was an excellent location for both of us. At night, he was within walking distance of his business dinners and I was within walking distance of shopping, pubs, and other sites. University College of Cork, a beautiful campus, is just a short stroll away. Gabriela (front desk) is an asset to The River Lee Hotel. When I inquired how to see sites outside of Cork (Blarney Castle and Middleton Distillery) she assisted with finding the bus and train schedules to ensure I was headed in the correct direction. She also gave accurate directions to the train and bus stations. She exchanged money to make sure I was prepared for the travel. When I would see her the following day, she would check in to see how the day went. Her assistance was so appreciated as I was a solo traveler - she made me feel confident in my travels. The daily breakfast was amazingly delicious as was the room service. The staff were professional and friendly at The River Lee Hotel. I cannot recommend them enough!

The beds are the most comfortable ever !! The staff are exceptional ? We’ve stayed a few times and have NEVER encountered a staff member that wasn’t friendly , welcoming and good at their job. Highly recommend the Breakfast room… The dining experience in the Grill room is a real treat . The menu is very good, the fish and steak are always consistent quality and flavour . The River Club Bar is very comfortable , the Terrace area is my favourite place after a nice dinner in the Grill Room. Retiring back to the comfort of lovely bedrooms , turn down service is a lovely addition and treat at the end of the day … return visit already booked
