The number one hotel in Cork, with an excellent location, the river lee is right under the window, and the breakfast is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk to the National University of Ireland Cork and an 8-minute walk to the British Market.

We stayed as a couple for my fiancé's birthday and they helped me organise champagne for the room. The staff were super friendly and the location of the hotel is great as it's only a short walk to the town centre.

I'd like to thank the staff at The River Lee hotel for helping me treat my mother to a lovely evening, and a delicious meal. We were greeted by our host Megan who was very accommodating and offered some lovely food recommendations. As per Megan's recommendation I ordered a hangar steak and chips with a lovely chimmichurri sauce. My mother eats gluten and dairy free food and they had a curry that was able to fit her dietary requirements, and it tasted lovely too! I'd like to give a special thanks to our hosts Camilla & Michelle, our waitress Beatrit and the Bartender Dillon. We'll be back again soon :)

We stayed here one night while we were driving through Ireland. This was the first hotel where I had a bed to myself as they offered 3 twin size beds. We couldn't check in early but ate lunch in the restaurant which was really good. Parking was only $12 and the underground parking garage has direct access to the hotel so it wasn't an issue bringing up our bags. Nice stay in Cork.

Wonderful experience. The staff was beyond kind and helpful from the desk to the restaurant to the housekeepers. Highly recommend the grill. Leah and Guillermo absolutely made our entire experience beyond expectation. Guillermo made us smile every day. He is the kindest, most professional, and refreshing person we came across on our travels. Highly recommend The River Lee

This is a wonderful, cozy hotel located in a quiet area. The staff are exceptional - very kind, courteous and professional. The hotel is within walking distance of historical sites, restaurants & pubs located right on the river. Have travelled extensively - would be tough to find better.
