Edencrest B&B

My second time staying with Barry and Josephine, wonderful hosts! They have a breakfast menu, but try to accommodate individual requests. My view upstairs overlooked Bantry Bay! Location is close to the town centre, but not “in town”. Lidl nearby. Property is gorgeous and it feels like staying with friends!

Edencrest B&B was the perfect base for a trip to see west cork. Right from our arrival Josephine went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable in their lovely home. The room and facilities were in immaculate condition, with extremely comfortable bedding and great communal spaces and hearty breakfast options ready to set us up for a day exploring that the area had to offer.

In April we stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful B&B in Bantry. Josephine and Barry were abosutely terrific hosts. Communication from our first e-mail and telephone contact up to our booking and before our arrival was very good. Upon our arrival we were greeted with drink of our choice (Prosecco for me and Irish Coffee for my husband) and shown around. Every room in the house is absolutely cosy and clean. We loved our room with a view of the sea, the breakfast room with a different tea-pot for each table and the guest lounge - which was rather a comfy living room. Both Barry and Josephine always had great suggestions on where to go, what to do and see and where to eat. They are a warm and friendly couple and your can tell they love being hosts. On top of this, Josephine is quite the artist with wonderful creative pieces (painted pictures and collages) she made herself around the house. Breakfast was fabulous and every dish prepared to order was delicious. There are enough parking spaces and even garden furniture for the guests. When going to Bantry you sure can't do better than this. Dear Josephine and Barry, thanks again for a wonderful time and sharing your wonderful house with us.

Beautiful, well appointed with elevated lovely views of Bantry Bay Made to feel welcome & at home the moment we arrived. The room & en-suite impeccable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and choices wide & superb. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Would certainly recommend a break in this lovely B & B

We had a lovely room with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was good and the hosts were so friendly. They gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner which was within easy walking distance. Good to find somewhere that didn’t require a two night stay.

Clean, super friendly hosts, nice location, very helpful with area information, comfortable beds and an overall beautiful home!

So friendly spotless I forgot to ask where they purchased the mattress it was so comfy and then the best breakfast highly recomended
