Exceptional!! I have stayed in many places over the years & I can honestly say this is one place I would highly recommend. You will not regret coming here. Elaine was a really pleasant & friendly host. The house is superb, the room was ever so comfortable and the breakfast menu in the main house kitchen was very good. It is walking distance to the local town/pubs and if you want good pub food then head to the Hunters Rest - well worth it & great value. I will certainly be back if I decide to come back in that area.

We arrived to a beautiful house looking out over Mitchelstown. Our room was well decorated and had all the mod cons. Bed was very comfortable. Elaine who greeted us was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a huge spread of cereals/fruits/yogurts and Full Irish if you want it. Definitely recommend a stay here.

What a fun stay. The property is beautiful. Framed in the fall foliage, it was like a post card. The room was upscale and luxurious, as well as welcoming. The hosts are delightful, and treat you like old friends. Fantastic breakfast. Great value -- I can't recommend it highly enough! Mitchelstown is delightful as well. THANKS!

This was one of the loveliest spots I've ever stayed in. The room was massive, bed was so comfortable, there were pillows and blankets tucked away in presses if we needed more. The staff was the nicest. The breakfast was lovely and they would have kept feeding us all morning. We stayed one night and I will 100% be back.

Stayed just the one night at the lovely Ballinwillin House... We had two double rooms in this period Country House. The house had some nice period features and our room was very large (the second room not quite so big). Breakfast was down in the house kitchen and was very good, although it did seem a little odd sat eating in the kitchen. We paid €110 per room which whilst the house was nice and comfortable I do think it was a little on the high side for a B&B.

Stayed here for just one night really wish it had been longer -and it's a lovely b&b beautifully furnished - great sized room - clean comfortable room, great breakfast and a very hospitable host. Its just about 3 minutes from the centre of Mitchelstown and in a beautiful country setting. Highly recommended. Looking forward to a return visit next year

Beautiful place, lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and very welcoming hosts. Stayed whilst on a business trip and the little touches they provided from calling to check on our arrival time to making a reservation for dinner, made this a stress free trip for us. Such a lovely location too, thank you for everything.
