This hotel was clean, well-maintained. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had good amenities. The beds were very comfortable. There was no elevator which was not a big deal for us, but may be an issue for others, so if you need an elevator, ask for a ground level room. There was not a lot of noise for the outside which made our night very enjoyable. As well, there is not breakfast included, but there is a Jungle Jim’s restaurant on site. There is a coffee machine in the lobby. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is great however there is no room service which is quite odd since the restaurant is attached.

Management and staff went above and beyond every imaginable expectation we ever experienced. From the moment we arrived due to a family emergency, they constantly went out of their way to make sure every need of ours was met. When their kitchen was closed due to Covid they provided us with food, water and so much more as they knew we were just going from the hospital to their hotel. To understand how much they did for us during our loss will never be forgotten. We will be forever grateful.

Everything was fine: check-in, the room, etc. We found it to be expensive compared to other locations. And there was no breakfast--something we expect from Comfort Inns. Also, they do not make the beds or do any cleaning until after check-out. For $200 a night, we were a bit disappointed. But it was clean and in good repair.

Stayed here 1 night on the way to the Port aux Basques ferry. Just off the Trans-Canada. Room was a good size and comfortable. Unfortunately, as is often the case, the fridge did not have a freezer. Since we had a cooler with ice packs it is hard to re-freeze the packs if there is no freezer. But a minor inconvenience. We ate dinner in the on-site restaurant - Jungle Jim’s - not the foods we would normally eat on vacation but there is not really anything else in the vicinity. Service was good though. No breakfast.

Room was ok - tired, but adequate. Check in was fine. Plenty of parking. We stayed one night on the way to the ferry. When we boarded the ferry we received a phone call from the hotel to say $50 was on hold on our credit card for 3 pillows we must have taken in error!!! We travel with our own pillows and put the extra pillows in the cupboard in the bedroom instead of on the dirty carpet. The housekeeper said the pillows were missing - so this shows the extent of the cleaning in the room - the cupboard obviously is not opened and checked (I was a housekeeper and there are often items left in there - so an important thing to actually open and clean!). We were not impressed, as the pillows were certainly not of the quality one would want to put in your suitcase and run off with!

Free parking on abundance Check in staff decently welcoming No coffee in lobby (kept running out) Jungle Jim's restaurant right beside the hotel Great views Lots in the area that is walking distance, Robin's, Macdonald's. Comfortable bed. Great hot water supply, decent shower. Can't knock this place. It was clean and quiet. I enjoyed my one night stay.

Visited with the family for a few days in August. Felt my expectations were appropriate to a hotel in this price range but was nonetheless disappointed by the cleanliness and level of attention. In fairness the staff were all very nice and responsive to any concerns but it simply seemed they didn't have the staff to deal with guest load. Our spare bed was not made up and there was a wet towel behind the door. There was no housekeeping at all for multiple night stays. Not just no towel or bedding service, but not even garbage changed. All and it was a passable nights stay given the options and price range, but not really recommended.
