This place is in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything that you can need. The hotel is so cute and very clean. We looked at the reviews and it already had great reviews and it did not disappoint. It was cute costal hotel with a great staff. We can’t wait to book our next stay!

This hotel was quaint and the service was excellent! Very clean and the bedding was comfortable. Perfect for a long weekend with my husband. Close walking distance to everything you’d want. Thanks for a nice stay and we hope to be back soon!

Lovely, very clean and comfortable boutique hotel. Terrific outside courtyard with plenty of seating areas. The staff could not be nicer and extremely helpful. The location is the very best and just a few blocks to the ocean. It is also around the corner to Orange for shops and restaurants. This is not our first stay here and we will definitely return.

This might be the nicest hotel with the best local ambiance we have stayed at in a decade. Perhaps longer. The staff is attentive but not overly so. The room is great! The attention to the smallest detail is evident down to the drain in the shower. And, the included breakfast was reminiscent of what you would find in Europe. Would highly recommend this place and would make an effort to go to San Diego just to stay here again!

The hotel is cute, located close to the main ***** of shops, and within walking distance of the beach. The rooms are equally as cute, the breakfast was adequate, and the courtyard had a cozy, calming ambiance. We booked a three night reservation directly through their website and, upon arrival, we were told we needed to change rooms after the second night (meaning we may as well not unpack and now needed to replan our third day). The hotel manager corrected it for us the following day after we made clear our dissatisfaction with having to do this, but the damage was done and this tainted our stay. We won't stay here again.

Wonderful beds. Even the sofa bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and responsive. We had everything we needed. Location was near shops and a nice residential area and easy walking distance from the beach and Hotel Del Coronado. There were also beach chairs, bikes, towels, etc available to borrow. We enjoyed the pleasant outdoor patio and a lovely continental breakfast. They even had a good gluten free muffin! Who does that? I always struggle with typical hotel breakfast fare, but not here. Five stars all the way.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Marisol. Not even a 5 minute walk to the beach and very reasonable pricing for its location. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. My partner and I went deep sea fishing one day and we asked the front desk if they had recommendations on a place that would cook up our caught fish. The staff at Hotel Marisol gave us an awesome recommendation and we were very happy. Many walkable places to eat and shop. We were very happy with our stay!

Great location, easy access to other attractions. Hotel was very clean and spacious. Front desk attendant GIO, was very accommodating. Helped plan our trip to the city. I forgot my charger, and he bought his personal charger to our room. I highly recommend this historic hotel.
