The service is average. The location of the hotel is very good. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the moonrise in the evening. The scenery is very beautiful. There are restaurants and shops in the surrounding area, and you can walk to several small island-style parks on the seaside, as well as museums and art galleries. The coastal promenade is also very beautiful, with popular science installations that travel through the solar system, and other art installations. Convenient to the Lexington Aircraft Carrier Museum and Aquarium/Animal Conservation Center across the river. In short, if you are not asking for a sexual vacation, staying here is a good value for money.

This hotel is in a great location and the view from the room is fantastic. The breakfast is spectacular with everything you could possibly want for breakfast. My only complaint is some areas of the 10th floor. We didn’t realize the breakfast area was right above us and can get extremely noisy early in the morning. Overall you can’t go wrong staying here. The hotel is very clean.

Travel to Corpus Christi for family gathering and Best Western was a very nice hotel with free breakfast. The food was good and the staff were very friendly.

Bar was closed, old glue was sealing the balcony door up there was mold in the shower, road was VERY noisy

Overall, this is a great hotel. We have stayed here before and will stay again. It is a bit dated but the rooms are VERY clean...they have a nice fresh smell. They offer more than a typical Best Western breakfast buffet. First of all, it is located on the 11th floor so the view of the water is beautiful (along with the view to the 2-story Whataburger next door). The buffet offers fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, fresh toast and waffles and all the toppings...the only things missing, in my opinion, were granola and peanut butter. My two favorite things about this hotel: 1. The location. You can walk to the harbor, to the Selena memorial, to the waterfront restaurants, etc. 2. Covered self-parking. Although there is a $10 charge to park, you can come and go any time you like and there is no valet fee.

No balcony, glass doors are sealed up and cannot be opened. Loading and unloading is a terrible situation. Walls are very thin. You can hear everything your neighbor is doing. If they are watching TV all night you are hearing the TV all night. Toilet is terrible flushes on the third try. It is very low causing men's stuff to go for a swim. The location is great if you are hanging downtown. Walking distance to great restruants and breweries.

Cons - Not the quietest stay for me. Heard the constant humming of the AC chillers. Then children screaming at 6am thru the wall. Shower made a very loud sound when the hot water was on. It almost felt like something would burst thru the shower wall.
Pro - Location has easy access to restaurants nearby.

Extremely ridiculous you have to pay for parking now, there is no need. Staff is amazing and friendly as always.
