Everything was clean , food was great , a**osphere was inviting, the only disappointed thing was that we were only staying for one night and we could not use the swimming pool because they had let an entire soccer team take over the whole pool area inside and outside , it was packed from 4-10 pm during the pool hours .

You can't expect too much. It's Corpus and the hotel options are not the best. We had a total of 4 rooms, one of the rooms smelled like a smoking room, but was supposed to be a non smoking room. The chromecast didn't work, keys stopped working, and no coffee or tea later in the day. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping forgot to clean one of our rooms, and the breakfast was standard. I'm a globalist and we were placed on the first floor. The room floors were so dirty that the bottom of our feet turned black from the dirt. Our faults bc we forget to bring our house slippers.

When staying at places like the Hyatt that associate themselves with being on the same level of let’s say a Hilton or Dury (I’ve stayed at almost every different type of hotel from very cheap to high end) but as far in price range this hotel is right there with them and this hotel falls very short of the that bar either they need to lower the prices to like a quality inn level or bring everything else up to the standards of there competition from the beds (I could feel the bed springs so sleeping was a nigh**are), pillows(very hard and heavy but yet somehow flat almost like a sack of flour in a pillow case)and breakfast was just sad some microwaveable breakfast sandwiches would have probably been better… but on a positive note the staff was absolutely lovely and the rooms were clean as well as the indoor pool.

As always our experience with the staff of Hyatt Place was wonderful. Everyone was as helpful as humanly possible. The hotel is located perfectly for exploring in the city, on th islands and seeing the surrounding communities.
