Booked a room for two days to watch the fireworks display on Ocean Drive. For $350 a night, the room had no refrigerator, no toothpaste, poor amenities. And we had roaches visibly crawling on the walls at times. The view was amazing, the restaurants in the hotel were OK. But pretty much never going to use this hotel again

Comments: The front desk of the hotel is friendly and has its own parking building. The 2F can be directly connected to the lobby, and the flow line is reasonable. The room's sanitary conditions are good. You can see the aircraft carrier Lexington from the balcony. The straight-line distance is 5KM. The Denan Art Museum designed by Philip Johnson is within walking distance. It is recommended to stay!
Room Tip: It is recommended to choose a high-rise sea view room without a balcony, which can overlook the Gulf of Mexico from the front. The rooms with balconies are all facing the sea sideways, and the location is not ideal.

We have stayed here a number of times through the years, so we thought we knew what to expect this trip. Even though we were here on a quick trip for a family funeral, we thought we could enjoy a comfortable stay with a beautiful bay view. Well, the view did not disappoint, but almost every thing else Omni did. We checked in on Sun afternoon (1/28) to sounds of jack hammers. We were NOT informed that the hotel was under construction! When we made it to our room - nice corner room on the 8th floor with a lovely bay view that we paid extra to enjoy - all we heard until way after midnight was motorcycles drag racing up and down Shoreline Dr! The regular traffic sounds which were ALL night long could have been driving right through our room they were so loud. We got NO sleep because of it and had to be up early for the funeral and then a long drive back to Houston. We feel this is unacceptable and when the desk clerk inquired about our stay, I told him all of the above. We were not offered any compensation for our suffering, only a "sorry"! Very disappointed all the way around with this Omni stay!!

In town for a concert. Picked Omni because it was walking distance to the venue. We stayed here about five years ago, and it was good. But it's starting to show its age. Checked in the staff were friendly but when he said they are adding $100 for I can't remember what they called it but it's for damage fee, that they will reimburse if there's no damage to the room. We were like, what the h***? Other hotels charge like $25. Then we went to our room, and it seemed like one elevator was working. Our room needed updated. The toilet did not work well. The bed and pillows were ok. Most likely will pick another hotel next time in Corpus.

The stay was very pleasant and overall nice. The staff in general we very nice and welcoming. However Hana, a valet attendant on my last day refused to give me the keys to my car so that I could my belongings in it after check out. She said it was too busy during check out time. I would have to wait. I had to wait 25 minutes just for them to hand me my keys.

Average hotel. Expected better quality since it is Omni. Great location. Across the bay and close to many great seafood restaurants. Hotel could use some touch ups.
