I hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, my experience was not as expected, and I felt that certain aspects of the stay, particularly regarding safety, were quite troubling. 1. During my stay, initially I was placed in an upgraded ocean view room which was nice (203). Unfortunately, I asked to be moved due to the sensitivity of hearing voices clearly from the room next door. The room I was moved to was (700). This room had an additional entrance that consisted of 2 doors to enter the room. Once settled in, I realized that the two doors didn’t lock. The first door, the additional lock, didn’t look and was broken. The second door only locked from the inside (meaning once you get into the first door, anyone could walk into the 2nd door). I expressed this “SAFETY” concern to the staff, and this fell upon deaf ears. I told them I was unable to sleep comfortably due to fear that someone would be able to access the room and to add insult to injury, this room is in the far corner from aside from the other rooms and located at the end. The young lady that was working at the front desk name tag stated she was int training and she proceeded to ask a female manager which stated they would just send Engineering to the room, but I could not change rooms because I changed rooms before. I voiced to them that I am not happy with this solution. They basically lied and so no rooms were available except the 1st room I was initially assigned to. I told them that I would go back into the 1st room over the 2nd room, due to the safety concern. I asked to be moved from the 1st room due to how easy it was for me to clearly hear the voices in the room next to 203. Not because they were loud or causing a disturbance, for some reason I was able to hear the people talking clearly which appeared loud on my end. It appeared as if they were penalizing me for changing rooms the 1st day, and now on the 2nd day, I was changing due to a safety concern and would not honor my request. I pleaded with them and told them that “I did not feel safe!” I am a woman, and I am staying in the room alone. Nothing happened until (Jerome) who was very pleasant and attentive to my needs and concerns, walked up and inquired about the situation. Jerome helped me move out of the 1st room and into this room and was helpful during this encounter as well so we already created a trusting a great rapport. Somehow Jerome convinced the manager to allow me to move back into the 1st room. While moving into the room I was previously assigned the 1st time, Jerome and I both noticed that the room had not been cleaned from when I stayed in the room the day before. The toilet was still stopped up, which I reported this information the day prior. I told Jerome that I would be okay in the room as long as someone would attend to the stopped-up toilet situation. Jerome did not feel that this was good customer service and asked if I could be patient and he would see if he could get a different room assigned t
