We came to this resort as a cruise excursion on 7 day cruise on Carnival Liberty. There were 9 of us ages 16-75yrs. We ate breakfast at the buffet and it was good with a good selection. Service was friendly and good. We picked this specific resort because we love a lazy river. It did not disappoint. It was a little busier and more crowded in the lazy river than we hoped but we all still really enjoyed it. We all wished the music in the area was not so loud but many people like that so we understand. The pool/beach side service was great and we appreciated it very much. We paid $175pp for all inclusive. It was pricey but we all enjoyed it. That price did not include transportation from the cruise port which they charged us $40 round trip pp which was outrageous. The Jamaica cruise port does not allow uber/taxi to come all the way to into the port. Only their approved transports. Last time in Jamaica we walked to get cheaper transport but we had a non walker with us this time. One of our older group members sliced their heel on the pool chair and it wasnt a big deal just bleeding alot and needed basic bandaid and they literally sent us to three different people located across the resort each time. We gave up lol and just went back to the cruise boat. Would highly recommend this resort. We felt safe and it was clean and the food was good.

Read such a mixture of reviews before going, that I really wasn’t sure how the hotel would be. I couldn’t have been happier once we was , the hotel was lovely, the room wasn’t wow wee no, but good enough to sleep in… people lovely, food lovely, lazy river lovely , entertainment good some nights especially the Michael Jackson night . A veryrelaxing holiday

First let me start by saying THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF WE ENCOUNTERED during our 5 night stay at the Hillton. They were all very pleasant and helpful Tyoni..(conceirge) really warm and accomodating Nurse Mya. is vert thoughful Food was very tasty... Absolutely no complaints . Chef Heuri( probably spelt incorrect) Im sorry) was very accomodating in assisting us with our breakfast requirement. Enough variety to choose from. So who can't find something to ieat, this IS NOT a reflection of availability but rather personal choice.in food preferences .Room 713.. comfortable. Slept very peaceful. The adjoining door unlocks ONLY FROM the room you are in. SO SAFETY I believe is the responsibility of the person in the room. SIMPLY LOCK your side No issues encountered. Room service and house keeping were prompt and friendly.. I like the location of the hotel because its off the hotel busy chain... that suited us perfectly but I wouldnt reccomend here if you want to get out and walk about. It is located off a busy highway with nothing to really see but traffic . The shuttle takes you to a nearby shopping outlet. There are trips that you can book at hotel. Its optional, no pressure to book. Drinks are strong 💪 😏 but the bartenders are more than happy to make the drink less intense 😅 Thank you Ricky and Abiona..from the Italian restaurant... very interactive young ladies whilst attending our table. The beach is ok. Its not miles of unspoilt sand but the water was warm.I could appreciate it. I think the water park area was quiet nice to have Although its an older hotel, it is maintained.I I would definitely return here or recommend it to anybody looking to chill 😎 out . Keep up the good work. Thanks for all your hospitality Sam and Tony

We just came back from staying at the Hilton Rose Hall and we had an amazing time. The food was awesome. Lots of variety. The resort was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly especially Alethia (server), dining room supervisor Denny, chef Phillip, and the omlet chef. The staff went out of their way to get you what you wanted. Speciaal mention the grounds keeper that got my mother fresh coconuts every day.

Such a lovely place and the staff is just the best! There may be no finer people than the Jamaican people. We felt welcome and accommodated everywhere on the grounds, truly friendly and happy that you are there! The Hotel itself is very good and maintained very well. We are Vegetarians, and yes, the options are limited but we were satisfied with the selection they had. Could there been more variety for Vegetarians? yes, but it is better than we find at hotels in the States. They had Indian dishes at the Buffet every night and they varied every day. There are other non-Indian Vegetarian options but again with some limitations. I would say a Vegan would have even less options but still would be able to find something. The evening entertainment is great! Including Slinky, the 94 year old unicyclist and contortionist! just brilliant! lots to do for the younger kids but older kids may find things on the slow side. Our Room was comfortable and cleaned daily. We really could find no faults with this Hotel.

During check-in the young female staffer began my check-in process. She inquired about the age of my son. I stated to her that he is 7 years old. She immediately ran to the rear office. She returned some 5-7 minutes later and communicated to me that due to the fact he was not on the reservation I would have to pay $150 for him to stay extra per night. Totaling an extra $900. I stated to her that I am not paying that. I have been a Hilton Honors member and traveled with my minor child hundreds of times and not once was expected to identify his presence as a minor. Nor was there any information of this requirement present during the booking of the reservation. Attached is the booking promotion Honors Make My Stay that I was booked under. Until Tevon came out of the back When she returned, she brought with her Tevon. I explained to him that I told reservations and Ms. Bryan hotel concierge that my child was traveling with me. He said to me "Prove it. The reservation shows you are here alone and we do not have to permit his stay. It is at the hotel's discretion." Tevon then lowered his voice and came towards me from behind the counter, towering over me he said "I'm trying to help you out. You can pay me $75 per night to let your son stay here with you." I was in complete shock and fear. I told him I refuse, I have been a Hiltons Honor member for many years, this is not acceptable. Tevon looked at the woman and said cancel her reservation. There I was in utter dismay. Completely vulnerable and in direct fear of the unknown. Where would we go? How? I have no phone to call for help. I have no knowledge of how to get around. My son started crying and asking Mommy why can't we stay here. I tried to comfort and calm him.

I hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, my experience was not as expected, and I felt that certain aspects of the stay, particularly regarding safety, were quite troubling. 1. During my stay, initially I was placed in an upgraded ocean view room which was nice (203). Unfortunately, I asked to be moved due to the sensitivity of hearing voices clearly from the room next door. The room I was moved to was (700). This room had an additional entrance that consisted of 2 doors to enter the room. Once settled in, I realized that the two doors didn’t lock. The first door, the additional lock, didn’t look and was broken. The second door only locked from the inside (meaning once you get into the first door, anyone could walk into the 2nd door). I expressed this “SAFETY” concern to the staff, and this fell upon deaf ears. I told them I was unable to sleep comfortably due to fear that someone would be able to access the room and to add insult to injury, this room is in the far corner from aside from the other rooms and located at the end. The young lady that was working at the front desk name tag stated she was int training and she proceeded to ask a female manager which stated they would just send Engineering to the room, but I could not change rooms because I changed rooms before. I voiced to them that I am not happy with this solution. They basically lied and so no rooms were available except the 1st room I was initially assigned to. I told them that I would go back into the 1st room over the 2nd room, due to the safety concern. I asked to be moved from the 1st room due to how easy it was for me to clearly hear the voices in the room next to 203. Not because they were loud or causing a disturbance, for some reason I was able to hear the people talking clearly which appeared loud on my end. It appeared as if they were penalizing me for changing rooms the 1st day, and now on the 2nd day, I was changing due to a safety concern and would not honor my request. I pleaded with them and told them that “I did not feel safe!” I am a woman, and I am staying in the room alone. Nothing happened until (Jerome) who was very pleasant and attentive to my needs and concerns, walked up and inquired about the situation. Jerome helped me move out of the 1st room and into this room and was helpful during this encounter as well so we already created a trusting a great rapport. Somehow Jerome convinced the manager to allow me to move back into the 1st room. While moving into the room I was previously assigned the 1st time, Jerome and I both noticed that the room had not been cleaned from when I stayed in the room the day before. The toilet was still stopped up, which I reported this information the day prior. I told Jerome that I would be okay in the room as long as someone would attend to the stopped-up toilet situation. Jerome did not feel that this was good customer service and asked if I could be patient and he would see if he could get a different room assigned t
