On the day of my arrival, I received a call from the front desk manager, Katie, informing me of a sudden rate increase. Despite my previous confirmations of the rate, including earlier that same day, Katie insisted on this change, citing an unfamiliar policy and telling me I could “accept the new rate or find another hotel.” This unprofessional approach and blatant disregard for confirmed reservations have not only inconvenienced me but also shaken my trust in a brand I once held in high regard. Regrettably, this experience has led me to decide against staying at this location again and has impacted my overall loyalty to Marriott. I advise caution to potential guests of the Marriott Courtyard in Corvallis, as the reliability of their booking commi**ents appears questionable.
