Apartamentos Parque del Sol

We are traveling with our 8 months old baby. They prepared the baby crib when we check in. We booked half-board meal included, bfast and dinner. The service at the restaurant was fantastic.

Arrived and was dealt with by a very rude man on reception. All the other staff are lovely. Rooms were a bit dated but fine for our needs our balcony view was a bush and behind that a road. the garden there looked forgotten.. We had a couple of issues with the room with things not working properly and they were fixed almost immediately. Breakfast was as you would expect for a hotel same thing everyday. The evening meal was awful and despite being half board we ate out a lot.. But all the staff were very friendly. The pool bar was nice we ate there a couple of times and it seemed ok. To hire a safe cost us 32 euros for 9 nights which is quite expensive. And pool towels cost us 9 euros each. But you could change them everyday.

I had a fabulous week here as a hotel guest. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful in all aspects. Dining room staff are amazing, so welcoming to returning guests and so good with the children staying at the hotel. Apartment is spacious and clean. Yes it is an older complex an in need of refurbishment but is perfectly adequate. The pool is warm and like the apartments kept very clean, there also appeared to be plenty of sunbeds available around the pool. I look forward to returning here again in the future.

Excellent location. Rooms are clean and replenished daily. Lovely pool view from the balcony, as well as a Mountain View from the bedroom. Very friendly staff. Not ideal for children due to the lack of child friendly food. Food is very basic but not the worst, ended up eating out most nights despite being half board. Great dessert selection. There is also no atmosphere at the poolside nor any entertainment during our stay. Ideal for a chilled vacation. There is a games room and baby pool which is great for kids. The main pool has a nice swim up bar and is still accessible to older kids. Approx 1.1 meters to 1.8 in the middle where it slopes downwards. Pool bar has very good drinks and food to choose from which are fairly priced. They offer sit in or takeaway which can be consumed either on the loungers or in your room. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

Good location. Dated but clean hotel. Lovely garden setting. Rooms good size. Food atrocious. No bar after 6.30pm have to get a drink from inside restaurant. Rediculous. No atmosphere whatsoever . Staff only good thing about this place. Could be so much better must be poorly managed.

During our stay in April, my husband had an accident and had to go to hospital. I would like to say a big thankyou for the help, support and shown by the staff during our extended stay. Apart from the accident, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel

Stayed at Parque del Sol for a week September/October in a ground floor apartment. The apt was spacious with a huge balcony and had what was needed for a self catering holiday. Check in: We were greeted by a rude and arrogant man who was not at all welcoming and was abrupt. Check in was a circus to say the least, sign here, sign there and a whole host of details, mandatory I believe, however that wasn't required in other properties up the road that I have already stayed in this year, so who knows. The beds were comfortable but the pillows could do with replacing. Under the beds had not been cleaned properly as I discovered when I went looking for an earring. Plenty of guests hair under the bed and over the ledge above the bed that remained there all week. The plastic around the balcony was never cleaned and the glass of the balcony doors had what looked like crayon marks on them from the previous guest. Previous guests hair remained behind the bathroom door all week and the bathroom wall tiles could do with a good wash down. Restaurant: Breakfast was lovely, plenty of it there and something for everyone. I really wish people would use the tongs provided and not use their hands! Dinner was ok, the salad bar and desserts was really nice and alot of effort went in to the presentation of that. Hot food was a matter of personal opinion and it wasn't for us and we all agreed that there was nothing very suitable for kids other than cold chips. We only ate their 2 nights. Food at the pool bar was ok, nothing fantastic. Staff at the pool bar and restaurant were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is difficult to negotiate if you have mobility issues as there are steps down to it. It's a soulless restaurant actually but it's fine for breakfast. It's a pity they don't do a B&B only option. The pool area has plenty of beds but in my opinion is not the cleanest and a bit more care is needed so you don't fall, parts of it are very cramped. Location is good but I would opt for the other end of Calle Londres near the Sunwing, Royal Sunset, Guayarmina but that's just my opinion. Not a bad 2/3* option accommodation on a budget but I wouldn't return.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable week, returning to Parque del Sol once again as a solo guest. I find this hotel so friendly and safe for a single lady. The staff are very welcoming and helpful despite being busy. The grounds are immaculate and the pool is fabulous. A short distance down the hill to the promenade where you can walk in either direction and the beach is lovely. Certainly my safe haven.
