Excellent hotel with good facilities. Would recommend for families with older children as it is situated on a hill. Has an odd layout inside and it took us a while to find the way to our room (we were at the far end of the hotel). Breakfast was great and lots of selection. It costs 4-5 eur to get a taxi into town (worth it on the way back as it is up a hill). Reception offer a free taxi return to Playa del Duque between 9am-5pm but we paid taxi to get to Playa Fanabe and Torvicas which were nicer beaches with more restaurants/shops. Room was a good size for us with a generous terrace which we used to sit out on. I would have preferred 2 bathrooms for a 2 bedroom suite but it was not a big issue for us. Room and communal areas kept very clean. 2 pools on different levels which were 1.4m deep, so better for older children who could swim! Plenty of loungers/sunbeds and a nice sand area which our children enjoyed and saved going down to the beach. Overall a relaxing family holiday and well worth it if you prefer less busy hotels (which we do).

This was our third stay in Hotel Baobab and we’ve already booked again for Xmas. It’s the best place we’ve ever stayed. It’s like having your own luxurious private apartment within a luxurious 5 star hotel. The staff are exceptional - warm, friendly and accomodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We enjoyed eating at the pool bar, food is delicious. Also went to the onsite hairdresser the lovely Blanca who is fab. Want to thank everyone and are sorely tempted to book up for Sept - Dec is too far away! Special thanks to Sophie, the 2 Javiers, and all the team on reception including Fabio. Super helpful. And to our lovely cleaning lady Andrie and the rest. Muchas Gracias from Liz & Stewart Lawrie. Back in cold rainy Scotland and missing Baobab already ☀️

They didn't recognise my Gold status. The hotel was quite empty during our stay. I had to fight to get an upgrade, in the end I had to pay to get the upgrade (a reduced rate). The staff are great, and the food brilliant. I just shouldn't be made to feel grateful for something im entitled too...

South Tenerife at its finest! This hotel charmed us with its impeccable service, spacious suites, and delicious breakfast spread. The location was ideal for exploring the island's key attractions, and the dedicated parking was a welcome convenience. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a luxurious and hassle-free escape.

We loved the concept of the Baobab suites . Your own private suite complete with decent size fridge freezer and cooking facilities if required. We had two kids with us so the washer / dryer, private pool and safe and enclosed sun deck was a bonus., and at the same time we had all the convenience of Hotel service at our beck and call. Room service was quick and effective via their what’s app , this was very handy and we used it frequently. Two options for breakfast , both very good. In the evenings you could go out to local restaurants ( no shortage of those within walking distance ) , eat on site in the snack bar ( short order food ) or go across the road to their find dining offering the Kar Bon which was also very good. There is a free taxi service to and from the beach every day. The highlight here was the reception / reservations / porter team, so helpful 24/7 they made sure our stay was very special. Also not forgetting the Spa team, providing the adults with some very much needed me time away from the kids. Overall the Baobab suites offer a haven of calm and tranquillity backed up by superb service and guest relations. Do ask for a suite on the higher floors, the lower levels are a bit close to the road. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Delighted to have just rebooked for 10 days at Baobab Suites.. Came here last June for the first time and loved every minute of our stay.. From the minute we walked into the reception to check in the staff were excellent throughout our stay, from the reception staff the restaurant and bar staff the cleaning staff all were so welcoming friendly and helpful.. The room (Divinity Estudio) was spacious elegant and stylish and immaculately clean with our own terrace and a shared pool, which we had to ourselves for the most part.. The breakfast restaurant was lovely with lots of choice of hot and cold food and beverages.. The main bar was picturesque with stunning views over Tenerife where we spent most evenings with a gin or two.. The pool area was amazing, quiet and luxurious again with stunning views.. An added extra was the sports centre across the road.. A well equipped gym for my morning workout was a perfect start to the day.. The food here was also very good and perfect for a more relaxed evening if we didn’t feel like going out.. Delighted to have booked again for June and can’t wait to get back..

We stayed in a one bed apartment with jacuzzi on the balcony. It had all the kitchen appliances you need. The bedroom at the back was comfortable and quiet. The views were excellent. The balcony was large and the automatic sunshades were very good allowing you to choose from full sun or shade. There were 3 options for breakfast, buffet, lounge or in apartment and all were very good in their own way. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
