I concur with the comments about outdated studios and rooms but the resort is well looked after, quiet, safe and welcoming. Thumbs up for the on site cleaning staff, maintenance staff, reception staff and pool restaurant staff. For light sleepers the pool level accommodation near and above the basement plant room should be avoided so bring ear plugs. Constant background sounds of engines, pumps and fans may annoy.

Yes, as I said in the title, I've been in worse, but I've also been in better. I short middle of the road experience. Start at the beginning. We get dropped off a good 10 min walk from the front of the hotel and had to walk along the main road I thought It was maybe because the coach was to big to get down the road as I learned later in my holiday that wasn't the case as I saw many coaches pass the hotelanyway not the hotels fault but just a wee tip if you pick here and you have mobility problems then don't is my advice. So on to the hotel. I had emailed ahead and asked for a poll view on an upper floor and was told that the hotel was full, so I could not get my request..fair enough. The room was OK, dated but clean . Well equipped kitchen microwave cooker(that was from the flintsones) fridge..etc,bathroom was OK again dated with bath and shower ..and shower curtain..served its purpose water was warm in fact too warm at times . Beds are comfortable but in a wee nook of the apartment, and it took us a dated to find any plug points near it, but that was our fault for not looking properly. The apartment had a seated area with a T.V. which had a few English channels which was fine. The balcony was a good size with not too shabby views but never got any sun but put that down the time of the year, and overlooked the main road and entrance. Location was the best part of the hotel. You are halfway between the main town and the beach, but on quite a steep hill. Now here is my biggest gripe..the noise!!. OMG, I don't know if it was just because the people in neighbouring rooms were really loud or the walls were thin or a combination of both, but christ on bike, you heard the lot...🤨. In conclusion, reasonable apartments for the money but need updated and if you have trouble walking there clear

The hotel itself was fine, however the self-catering room was very tired, outdated and small with very little storage space. We asked to change rooms but they were all the same!! The sunbeds around the pool were "released" at 10 am by which time queues had formed ready for the scramble!...and as usual a lot of beds were reserved for hours!! The staff were lovely and the room was cleaned daily

It’s really impressive how they manage to have me feel like I traveled in time with my visit there. The interior is really outdated. You get a physical key to the room and not a keycard. The room was falling half apart and somewhat filthy. The location is great and the view we had was beyond amazing from the 6th floor. It says that there is WiFi and meanwhile it’s not a lie you’re only able to use it in the hall which is rediculus. You pay extra to use the rooms safe, you put down a minor deposit fee for this which you get back when you leave aside from the additional cost. They have parking spaces available for an additional fee but totally worth it if you have a rental. Also there is absolutely no sound proofing whatsoever. I could hear what my neighbors were thinking.

Hotel is in a really good location, and is close to everything. We were half board but had to walk to a sister hotel for meals because we had no restaurant. Hotel is 75% owned and has a clicky feel about it, especially around the pool. Rooms are basic , and will need refurbishment soon.

Great location and nice complex. Rooms very old and dated but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful… we asked to move rooms as there was building work going on next door.. it was so noisy.. the guy on reception was really helpful. Decent hotel if your on a budget

Rooms were nice, a little old fashioned but perfectly functional. Beds were really comfy. My only real complaint about my room was the door was a bit of a pain to open think they could do with updating their room doors. Pool was fantastic, 2 big pools and one little one. We stayed in mid-august and had no issues getting sun beds. Lifeguard could make himself better known though. He seemed to appear out of thin air. There is a pool bar with all manner of drinks and cocktails and does food too. A little dearer than what you may get outside the hotel but it’s for convenience . Staff were friendly enough. Maids always said “hello”, as did the receptionists on the way in and out the hotel. The bar staff were nice too especially one who turned cocktail making into a little show. Never got the man’s name but he was a nice older guy. Location was spot on. 5 minutes down to the beach or 5 minutes to the San Eugenio centre. Bars and restaurants everywhere. No entertainment in the hotel but if you walk up to the Irish bar at the top of the hill there’s a singer on every night. My one complaint, which technically isn’t part of that exact hotel but it was sold with out hotel booking, the food for guests who are half board. Breakfast and dinner is served a hotel a couple of minutes walk away the Panorama. Breakfast was ok no complaints there, dinner however, was shocking. Very little choice, what choice they had was something else. I’m no expert on any cuisine but I don’t think squid and tuna pie exists in any cuisine. We ended up eating out because it was so bad. We actually got up and walked out as we didn’t believe the menu that was put out at breakfast was real. All in all, I had a good holiday. Will definitely return to this hotel next time I want to go to Tenerife. I think next time I’ll stick with self catering though.
