Hovima Santa María

Had a great weeks holiday at the Santa Maria. Sacrificed any kind of view for air conditioning but was aware when booking. Basement room was a bit dark and dingy. Hotel clean and staff very friendly. Requested extra pillows and a fan for the bedroom both delivered to the room swiftly. For a 3* thought the food was very good. Bottle of sparkling wine was brought to the room on my birthday which was a nice touch. Can’t comment on the entertainment as didn’t participate in any. The best thing about this hotel is its fabulous location. Would definitely return.

On arriving at hotel staff very friendly and helpful, check is was quick . Rooms we had a one bedroom apartment with pool view, it’s very dated but clean. No air conditioning, we had fans but would struggle with the heat in the summer. But it was fine for our needs. Our bedroom didn’t have windows only at the top of the wall so very closed in, we had a sofa bed on the floor which rolled around. We have been in other rooms which were a lot bigger and nicer than our room , so please check. The food is good but not a lot of selection but you can always find something to eat , you won’t starve. The last couple of days lunch was served in the pool area outside which was a lot less choice. The pool area was clean and every morning they clean in and around pool area. You do have to wait until 9am Monday-Friday to put your towels on the bed and 9.30 on a weekend if you do manage to put your towels down they will be taken off until the time. Location is fantastic . Claire is amazing at the entertainment and getting everyone involved if they wanted to be. What a great lady. Overall enjoyable holiday and would rerun in the cooler months.

This hotel was excellent value, the food was really good. The pool closed for emergency repairs a few days into our holiday for emergency repairs this was very disappointing. However we were up graded to full board and offered free vouchers to sunbath on the beach. The jet 2 rep was really helpful. Our room was very clean and the sea view we booked was accommodated. Claire made our day time with the quiz and bingo daily. We enjoyed so much that we have booked for next year already and hopefully get our sea view with sunny balcony. Lovely family hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was ok and different every night. Lovely little celebration for Canary day. Great location, close to the beach and the shops and bars. Room was lovely and clean and the cleaner was lovely and friendly. We had a corner room and the balcony was massive.

Spotless rooms comfortable beds reception absolutely brilliant nothing was to much trouble I've been there on many occasions and.it never disappoints. The hotel is in a brilliant location only a couple of minutes to la pinta beach lots of bars and restaurants on your doorstep.

Really love this hotel, all staff very friendly and Claire and the animation team make it especially great for kids (and adults as well). We can't wait to come back in September for a short break to catch up with everyone. Looking at February next year to

Fab hotel, and friendly staff, Claire was an amazing entertainer through the day, night and also evening service greeting, nothing was a problem for her. Rooms clean and fresh. Food choice really good for a 3 star hotel. Would definitely come back to this hotel

Hotel is in a good location of Costa adeje. Family friendly too good selection of food and Claire well she is amazing and has made our holiday the last three years. Claire does so much work to help make sure all holiday makers with or without kids have a fab time and feel included with all activities.. absolutely best atmosphere made by one fab lady!

Friendly hotel ideally situated in Costa Adeje. Lovely sea view from balcony. Given a free upgrade to 2 bed apartment instead of 1 bed we had booked, nice to have extra space. Upright fans in lounge and one of bedrooms were sufficient at this time of year but probably not ideal when temp is hotter. Very clean apartment and comfy beds. Food good with enough choices. Our balcony overlooked music bar but once doors closed could not hear it. Only suggestion to improve our apartment would be to decorate as fresh white walls would make a huge difference.
