GF Isabel

Stayed there for more than two weeks, a lovely resort with bungalows and apar**ents in a Canarian style, good services like laundry, animation, several nice pools including a big heated one. Had an apar**ent on 4th floor with a large terrace and lounge chair - didn’t have to go to pool to get some suntan! The furniture a little outdated but the only big problem- there were lots of sweet ants running around the kitchen, had to have a cleaner to spray the place around. Still, a nice place once this was tackled

Maids came everyday which was great. They made the beds, left clean towels, tided round. Not so sure how clean the floor was though as feet always very dirty. We were given a ground level room which suited with prams etc but view not great and was informed rooms 3rd level and up were much nicer. Pools were nice. Kids pool with slides was good as very shallow so small children could play unattended, some sunbed under shaded cover. Main pool was nice and usually the busiest, was supposed to be heated, felt slightly warmer than others. Lots going on round this pool, entertainment and games during the day. One day a lady did a sort of cat walk round the pool to try and get you to buy the clothes she was selling. Very loud music playing while she does this. Photographer constantly asking to take pictures and then enticing child to have pictures taken to get you to try and buy. The dining room where all food was served was very busy, whatever time we went it was manic. We were bed and breakfast and just ended up buying food in. Entertainment was ok from what we saw but only did a few nights there. Staff pleasant enough, no problems with staff. Rooms basic but nice enough, beds comfy and showers good. Location 10-15 walk to beach and main restaurants . Food court/shopping centre located 2 min walk which was handy with small children. Very nice Indian restaurant called Bombay something. Probably wouldn’t visit again but an ok stay.

Our third visit to this hotel. Absolutely love it . Great staff , rooms very spacious and clean with lots of storage and a good size balcony. Location is ideal and the pool area was perfect with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. We've already booked for next year !!!

It was myself and my partners first time at the GF Isabel (I have previously stayed at the adeje gran) and we were blown away by the whole experience. We stayed for a week in an apar**ent, bed and breakfast. From the moment you enter the hotel, which for us was very late at night so we were knackered, the lovely staff are more than happy to help you in any way they can. We got taken to our room, which was beyond perfect and immaculate. I had also mentioned it was our anniversary while we were away so were greeted with a lovely sign, a bottle of bubbly and some chocolates. My partner and I were both in awe at how well kept the grounds of the hotel are kept, every morning there were staff out cleaning, tidying, cutting the bushes, fixing things etc and it showed. Walking through the complex felt like a perfect, quaint Spanish village. We had breakfast every morning and had dinner once at the hotel. Honestly - we’d go back just for the food. The buffet style meals are so fresh, with cooks cooking the food right in front of you. An amazing selection, even for my partner who is a very fussy eater. The rooms were very spacious, with a very generous living/dining/kitchen, especially for a hotel. It was fitted with a stove, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. The bedrooms were equally as large with a large bed (which are 2 separate beds pushed together) and double mirrored wardrobe. Ample space to get ready. The bathroom is also a decent size. We had a slight issue with the sink in our room, one trip to reception and a maintenance member of staff was there to fix it. No issues after that. The balcony has to be the star of the show, with a door from the living room and bedroom, with a table and chairs for sitting out on. We had a late night flight on the way back, didn’t leave the hotel until 6:30, and although we were unable to get a late checkout, the staff kept our bags in their lockable luggage room, and had lovely shower facilities (with towels, shower gel and shampoo available) so we could still go in the pool or freshen up before we left. The staff also deserve a very special shoutout, they worked tirelessly to ensure the best stay possible. And it 100% was.

Great hotel in a great location, it was very clean and well maintained with staff always out and about cleaning and maintaining bits. We had a lovely room with a sea view which was well equipped for what we wanted Staying for bed and breakfast we were chuffed to see a great selection for the buffet for breakfast with a huge selection to chose from we only ate breakfast here so can’t comment on anything else The Siam park bus stop was 2 mins away as was the twice weekly market We were really pleased with our stay, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the pool great The only thing I would ask would be to see more recycling bins round the pool like you have at the pool bar, lots of plastic bottles being binned when they could be recycled We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and bring the kids next time +++++++
