Had a fabulous time at Costa Teguise Gardens. Arrived and they where very helpful when we couldn't manage the room they gave us due to stairs and gave us 2 low level rooms which they swapped to a 2 bed apt on the first floor the next day. Rooms where basic but clean and pool area was fabulous and very clean, seen staff cleaning all the time, no fights for dunbeds as locked till 10am but plenty of places to set ur bed once got them. Restaurant was very clean and tidy, staff always clearing tables quickly and resetting for new diners, food was lovely, not a massive selection but always something to eat and always being replenished before running low, chef making fresh food at dinner was lovely. Hamza and Dylan are credits to the hotel and always very friendly, Hamza was the best barman full of banter and carry on and would defo be one of the main reasons for me to return due to how nice and friendly he was. My only complaint would be the location as 20 min walk to Central area but taxi only 4 euro so not a big deal amd would defo not put me off returning.

AVOID!!!! This hotel feels extremely outdated, more like something from the 1980s. The overall condition is poor and far below acceptable standards. The bathroom had a strong damp smell, and the shower was unusable due to constant temperature fluctuations, switching from boiling hot to freezing cold without warning. It made it impossible to shower safely. The room itself was very disappointing. There was only one power socket, located on the opposite side of the bed, which was highly inconvenient. The bedroom light was not working properly, and some exposed electrical cables felt unsafe. The windows were broken and would not open, which made the room feel even more uncomfortable. The wardrobe was also broken, making it difficult to store clothes. The fridge and microwave appeared extremely old and unreliable. Housekeeping was inadequate, with cleaning only done every second day, and even then, the quality was poor. The food was one of the worst aspects of the stay. Most days there was very little choice, and what was available tasted unpleasant. It was difficult to find anything enjoyable to eat. The coffee area was also poorly managed, out of four machines, only two were working, resulting in queues of over 15 minutes. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches visible behind the coffee machines, which is completely unacceptable. There were no meaningful activities or entertainment provided during the stay. The atmosphere is also very quiet and seems to cater mostly to an older crowd (75+), which may not suit all travellers. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would strongly advise avoiding this place, especially the apartments.

Loved this place . Such a lovely atmosphere. Lanzarote can be hit and miss but we loved the charm and staff faultless. You feel that they really want you to have a great stay. Food was great, can get a bit boring but they mixed it up . Loved the meat variety. Melt in the mouth, be sure to keep your plastic cup tho . Can’t fault the place. We had a wonderful time! We will be back

The hotel is in need of updating. The room we had was very large, but the kitchen sink tap was very loose, the fridge had no lid on the ice box which needed defrosting and the hair drier looked like a fire hazard waiting to happen, so we didn't use it at all. The breakfasts were quite good, but the other meal times the food was very poor, and we are easy going with food, but we ate out every night after our first night there. The staff all seemed nice and helpful. Saw a few cockroaches, one was enormous. The pool area was small and very busy.

Four nights in and as if it can’t get any worse 12.30 at night and there’s a couple above us having a full on drunken argument! Cockroaches, ants, dirt , the place is literally the worst place we’ve ever stayed! We paid all inclusive but we’ve been going out to eat it’s that bad.

Terrible hotel, location and staff! I’ve never been anywhere where I’ve had to pay €1 for a small plastic cup that was reusable, that didn’t get rinsed or changed before the next drink. The hotel was old and in need of repair in places and very outdated. The pictures didn’t tell the true story. The staff in the bars and restaurant were rude and not happy in thier work. They were grumpy and made you feel like getting a drink was an inconvenience to them. We tried to put 2 tables of 2 together to make a 4 for our group and was told off… I wouldn’t mind, we were not even in the restaurant, we were outside in a hallway at the bottom of the stairs on our own! The reception staff were polite, helped book taxi’s and organised a curtesy room. There were drainage smells around the resort and no one picking up litter or cleaning up after customers, and the wind didn’t help with the litter, but staff would know this. There was no lifts to get to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors with your luggage, no air-con in the room, and the bathroom didn’t have an extractor fan either. The entertainment wasn’t suited to anyone over the age of 5, under the age of 70 or English!

We stayed here for 4 nights in March, and here are my thoughts. It was a cheap break, so i didn't expect the Ritz ! On the surface, it looks ok, a typical 3 star hotel. The rooms were ok, just don't do a deep dive ! I wouldn't sit on the pull out settee due to stains, and i am not one to be fussy ! Can you be picky when a break costs £320 all inclusive in Lanzarote ? The brekkie was a bit hit & miss, although i always found something at lunch or dinner ( we only ate out once ). We didn't have any snacks inbetween as they were non-existent, just a small fridge to make yourself a sandwhich ( no thanks ). This was by far the worst snacks of any hotel we have stayed in. The alcholic drinks were standard fare. The local area is very quiet, but its only 3 euros in a taxi to thr main area if you are in search of some life. Juan the entertainment guy was great fun ! Overall, it is good value for money, you get what you pay for i suppose.
