We stayed for a week, All inclusive and have nothing negative to say. Check in was quick and greeted well by the team and the glass of cava was a nice touch. Showed to our room and it was better than expected. Bed was very comfy, lots of space and a lovely balcony which got the sun in the evening. Pool area good and no fighting for sun loungers which was great. The food choice was excellent, something for everyone and we didn’t venture out to eat (as we intended to do) as food quality/choice was so good. Champs bar served quality range of premium drinks, with very good measures and the entertainment each evening was good and we liked to have a little dance in the corner. In the town centre so beach and shops within 2/3 min walk. Thank you to the whole team, special shout out to Miguel and Lachen who are a real asset to your team, very genuine, caring guys who couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you

Trust the plethora of recent bad reviews Much more 3 star than 4 star. Located in a tatty part of Costa Teguise, the hotel was perhaps smart once but is now tired. There are only 2 pools - one is tiny (the one that looks so stylish in photos), and the other looks huge in photos but really isn't at all. Limited sunloungers. Reception staff were non-receptive. We were greeted with an abrupt "I need your passports". Not even hello. I asked how she was (in an attempt to draw her attention to her lack of warmth). I always say if you don't like customers, don't work in customer service.

If we ever return to Lanzarote, we will be staying here again. Huge, comfy bed in a modern room. We had a whirlpool bath on our balcony (as requested), which was lovely in the evenings, but is a tight fit for two. The pool areas are really nice, with sun beds always available. It was very windy at the front which made it a bit chilly to use that pool, but the weather wasn’t great the week we were there. There was always plenty of staff, all of which were really nice and helpful. We were half board but planned to eat out a couple of nights. We never tried any of the multiple nearby restaurants though as we enjoyed the hotel food so much! There’s several bars at the hotel; sports bar/pub with live music, chilled out cocktail bar, gastro bar for staying hydrated by the pool. The hotel is on the seafront with plenty of bars/restaurants/activities within walking distance. 2 beaches within 5 mins walk, great for snorkelling and water sports.

Amazing time at Barceló teguise! The grounds are lovely and clean the pools are stunning and nice and quiet around the pool. We upgraded to the all inclusive package and were really impressed. Plenty of cocktails to choose from all the meals we had were really good quality and tasty and plenty of choice. Allergies catered for via dairy free milk alternatives and allergies clearly displayed. Also noticed a gluten free bakery section too. We had a sea view room and it was stunning! Champs bar had great evening entertainment really enjoyed all 3 acts we seen on the Friday Saturday and Sunday!

Emplacement top. Notre chambre vue sur mer était parfaite. Les buffets sont extraordinaires. Le personnel est très sympathique. Dommage que la piscine et le circuit thermal ferment à 18h. Quand on arrive de balader je pense qu’on apprécierait volontiers ce moment de détente.

Just got back Hotel great Staff great Food FANTASTIC Hot tubs amazing Ready to book again Thankyou for a great holiday Well done guys x One little grumble pool tables needed to be wiped dirty first thing in the morning and we used the stairs to keep fit and they were never brushed down but we are booking again x

Reviewed after earlier visit last November and stayed 3 weeks this time. We had a great time (though winds and Calima didn't help but have to expect these in Canaries. We had the feeling that there were less staff then last year especially in the restaurant and some of the grill cooking was below par by preparing far too much in advance so that the fish or meat could be over cooked. Maybe that was due to often one person grilling, carving meat and cooking pasta. Perhaps some staff have been poached to go to the new hotel in Playa Blanca? That apart the choice of food especially at breakfast was amazing and there was always something to satisfy you. The more annoying negative in the restaurant was caused by a few ignorant guests who consider it acceptable to hold video calls (with of course loud sound) at their table rather than walk outside to take the call. Special mention this time to Candy from the kitchen and David who waited on us most mornings and evenings and of course Monserrat. Hope to be back
