The room was very large and comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessary utensils to make your meals, the pools were very clean. The bed was comfortable but a little old and it sounded as soon as you moved. The bathroom was good, with always hot water, but the tub was very dirty. In general everything is good, it just needs a few small renovations to make it look like new.

I wanted to spend one more day, so I renewed my hotel reservation. The overall feeling of the hotel environment was very good in the first three days, but on the fourth day the front desk was replaced by an older man. The service felt very unfriendly and impatient towards Asians.

Very similar to a large hostel with good bungalows (with a kitchenette, kettle, microwave)
many children, many small pools on the territory
There is a shop on site (prices are above average), a cafe where you can buy breakfast / dinner
The disadvantage is that there is no access to the sea-ocean, as such. (there is a certain bay on the territory, more like a paddling pool)
To swim you need to go along the promenade along the sea to the beach

We had a refurbished 1 bedroom vila, rented privately, so i cant comment on tour operators. However, the resort is spotless, pools are right outside the vilas, the pool bar is excellent, food and drink are reasonable prices. The location is on the beachfront and a 10 min walk to the busy centre with pubs and restaurants. I have booked again for 3 weeks in september

Before going here I was dreading it abit because of the poor reviews. The place has a lovely atmosphere and the staff work very hard and are all lovely, to be honest the place has such amazing potential, the surrounding outside areas are great and perfect for children as there are pools etc nearby all apartments. Location wise for us it was great, however there is so much room for improvement here, the rooms are extremely dated albeit the places are cleaned daily, but you can smell old musty furniture it’s that old and tired, the kitchen appliances are shabby and very run down. I personally found the beds comfortable, the bedroom furniture were all falling apart, Really is in need of renovation. It’s very unfair to expect paying customers to put up with it as there are far better around, but we really did enjoy the week there and didn’t let it spoil our holiday. Just a real shame as it could be perfect giving the attention it needs

This place is shocking , so outdated ! We booked a superior twin room , we got a shabby room with a pull down bed in the living room, NO Aircon , TV doesn't work ( not that we watch it,,) hair dryer doesn't work , smell musty everywhere! Asked at reception for air con said it would be ,,€75 for the week , so asked for at least a fan ..still waiting,!!!! Never again !!!!

This resort was built in the 80s so yes, some of the furniture is a little dated but the staff are delightful and the pools are the cleanest that we have found in Lanzarote. Most importantly, this resort is friendly and safe. Of course, if you look hard enough, you’ll find something to complain about but that would be the case anywhere. We have stayed in three good hotels, previously in this resort and Puerto del Carmen and this is my favourite. Sadly, it is no longer 5 star luxury but it is clean, comfortable and in a great location. Also, considerably cheaper than a 5 star! We will definitely be back.

This is the most awful place to stay. We stayed one night. It’s dirty, falling apart and the only way to describe it is disgusting. Pink mildew all round the kitchen. Black mould in bedroom and bathroom. Ants and other bugs crawling all over. We have been sat in the reception for 3 hours for someone to sort a refund so we can find a clean bed to sleep in elsewhere. I will add to this review when we find out what is happening with our refund.

Was really worried about coming here for our Xmas holiday after our original got cancelled & booked this last minute…the reviews weren’t great but we had an amazing time ..yes it’s tired & needs updating but our apartment was spotless,the cleaning team work extremely hard ,they are very helpful & really pleasant.. It’s a bit out of the resort but unless you have mobility issues there is no problem walking into resort … would have no worries about staying here again
