Nice historic hotel in historic downtown. Convenient to walk downtown. Helpful staff. Next to dining and shopping. Easy parking. Stairs only for second floor. Comfortable room.

We stayed here several years ago and we’re so pleased that we decided to stay here again..
Unfortunately we were quite disappointed.
The property has become a little “tired” and needs some updating.. our bed was soft we sunk into the mattress and the mattress definitely needed replacing. In general the room needs improvement. Everything was worn.
We won’t be staying here again even though the location is so convenient & the staff ver accommodating.

Very clean and nice place only thing I didn’t like was the beds were like sleeping on a hard wood table. Memory foam just on the hard side.. Besides that awesome place

Idk why this place gets such great reviews, it was mediocre at best.
Worst situation in terms the bathroom.
Had to store everything in the main room and walk items back and forth.
Sink ridiculous, it was so small the water was running onto the floor.
No maid service.
Ceiling fan was too loud and strong to turn on.

The room was clean and nice. The problem was the A/C unit was so loud when the heat did turn that it kept waking me up. I finally unplugged the unit but had to turn it back on because it was so cold in my room! I could not find any blankets but Denise said they were above the microwave. I did not see them and was not told prior to renting the room that is where they were! I even played her a recording of the unit. I had to put on more clothing to try and keep warm. The A/C needs to be replaced. It's OLD and used up! She said they have had other complaints. I will not ever stay there again.

Keep in mind this is an old hotel that has been updated with great intention and thoughtful. I loved the antique and refurbished bathroom door; it had a mail slot and privacy glass. The room included modern technology for phone charging and television. For which I was grateful, as I forgot my adapter for my phone cord.
