The property was fine, but I was very uncomfortable by the fact that the owner intentionally leaves religious material open on the guest’s desk in an attempt to force you to interact with it. It is not acceptable to impose your religious beliefs in your customers.

First motel that I felt safe in, very quiet, and no people wondering the parking lot late at night. And the price was excellent for such a well maintained, very clean room.

A good hotel at a fair price. The clean room had a minibar and oven, something that other more expensive hotels do not have. And above all, the attention at the reception was excellent. Very friendly, they were even very accessible when I asked them to leave my truck in their parking lot for a few days since it had failed me. Recommended!

The experience here was mediocre at best. I found a lot of highway noise, a bizarre conception of what a reasonably ‘full’ roll of toilet paper is, and I thought the attitudes of the owner were bizarre and inappropriate. First, when I asked him what the password on the keycard holder: “TEXAS123” were, he looked at me like I had two heads that I couldn’t figure out that the capital letters were all lowercase. Most inappropriately the owner has his staff leave the Bible open out on the desk to force the guests to interact with it, lest they otherwise fail to interact with it by leaving it in a desk drawer. It is not the place of the owner to force his ideas of religion and morality on his guests. This is absolutely unwarranted and I can’t in good conscience recommend this hotel as a result. It was an absolutely bizarre experience that made me feel unwelcome at this establishment. Just. No. I felt icky staying here.
