Lovely accomodation, clean and great breakfasts. Roberta was a great host and runs this place like a well oiled machine! The tiwn itself does not have a lot of places to eat at night so keep that in mind when staying in Cow Head!

My husband Chuck and I recently stayed at this amazing Inn run by the equally incredible Roberta. She greeted us as we arrived and immediately felt that we meeting a new friend. We were blown away by the warm vibe of the lovely common areas where guests can relax with a book or talk about their travels. Our room was so nice with a king size bed, comfy linens and a large on-suite. Roberta told us about events that were going on in Cow Head over the Canada Day Holiday weekend. With her recommendation, we enjoyed a evening of folk music and stories of generational life in Cow Head, two delicious lobster meals at the church fundraiser, and fireworks on night that we watched right on the front porch of the Inn with other guests. The Inn is a great base point to visit the spectacular Gros Morne park, as everything is within an hours drive. The not to be missed boat tour of Western Brook Pond is only about 15 minute drive away. Be sure to enjoy a production at the Gros Morne Theater in their newly renovated building. We went to a dinner/theater night that was wonderful. But back to our experience at the Inn...Roberta made delicious cooked to order breakfast each day. You can taste the care and love she puts into everything she does, especially her yummy Partridge Berry jam and syrup. Our room was so comfortable and we felt so at home. We stayed for three incredible days. As we were leaving, we felt we were leaving new friends as everyone we met was so warm and friendly. We cannot recommend this place enough and will be back. Newfoundland is a magical place and so is the Sea Breeze!

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights at the SeaBreeze Bed and Breakfast. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious! Best place to stay in Cow Head. Roberta was the perfect host.

Great B&B. Huge room. Quiet location. Slept like a baby. Very comfortable lounge. Super breakfast. Very warm welcome from Darrelle and Troy. If you are visiting the area I wouldn’t have any hesitation to recommend you stay at Sea Breeze. (They have an RV Park next door if that’s what you are looking for.)

Sea Breeze is located right across the water and there are chairs set up right out front for you to just sit and enjoy the view. Our room was beautifully decorated and bath robes were provided for our use. You can relax in the common area where there are books about the area. The kitchen had coffee, tea, water, popcorn, and fresh muffins available. For breakfast, you choose your seating time and the food you want the day before. The breakfast is very hearty and delicious! The dining room is cozy which makes for easy conversation with other guests. Troy took time to answer the questions we had about the area. The Western Brook boat ride and Steve's Trail nearby are highly recommended. We were lucky to see seals swimming about at the end of Steve's trail. There was only one restaurant open in Cow Head when we went. Troy and Darelle provided everything we needed during our stay. We loved every minute at Sea Breeze!

As the other 300reviews have said, this is a great campground and only a half hour north to Gros Morne. The owners are fantastic and the views right on the ocean were great. We did the Western Brook Pond tour which I highly recommend. Also, at Brooms point we hiked the Steve’s Trail. Flat, easy 10 minute walk to an amazing beach with the famous red chairs. We loved this area and would definitely return.

We were on “pothole” highway, in the middle of nowhere about 1 hour from Cow Head, when the dash of our rental SUV lit up with a warning that the left rear tire had low air pressure. It was Saturday afternoon at about 4pm and we were booked to stay at the SeaBreeze B&B. Oh, oh! Were we going to make it? Over the next hill, a gas station appeared. They had an air pump but no way to fix a tire leak if we had one. “The **** as gone right out of er. Best to head to Cow Head, b’y, if ya hopes to brings ‘em home to Lizer,” advised the attendant. After filling the tire and confirming only a slow leak, we took our chances. Ironically, our rental SUV could report each tires’ air pressure every 10 seconds but had only a mini spare tire that was unlikely to survive for long under the challenging road conditions of the Northern Peninsula. After an agonizing 100km, watching the slow but steady decline of the air pressure, we pulled into the SeaBreeze B&B parking lot with a familial sigh of relief at about 5:15pm. Knowing we had another long drive ahead of us on Sunday, I shared our dilemma with our lovely host, Roberta, as she checked us in to our clean and comfortable rooms at the oceanfront SeaBreeze B&B. It was at that moment, that Newfoundland’s famous “Come From Away” (CFA) hospitality became our reality. Roberta texted Troy, soon to be the new B&B owner/operator with his wife, about our predicament. Five minutes later, Troy was at our door with a smile and a battery-operated air pump. As he pumped up the low tire, we could both hear the hiss of air escaping, getting louder with every cycle of the air pump. “Hmm,” says Troy, “Even if we pump it up tonight, it’ll be flat by morning.” He likely saw the worry in my face as I thought of missing our Monday flight from Gander and the lost opportunity of a hike in the beautiful Gros Morne National Park that surrounded us. Before I could say a thing, Troy, took out his cell phone to make a call: “G’day, Dwayne, whatta y’at?...I have a B&B guest here with a flattie, lookin’ to get on the go on Sunday…. Yup… Ok, we’ll be right over.” As my jaw dropped, I asked if an auto shop had agreed to stay open late to fix the tire. “Oh no, b’y, Dwayne lives just there,” said Troy pointing at a white house across the alley. “Just drive on over and I will meet ya there.” Dwayne greeted me with a smile and had me back the SUV into his garage where he removed the faulty tire, pulled out the offending rock, plugged the hole, pumped up the tire and torqued it back on to the car… all in under 10 minutes! It was less than an hour since we had arrived! “Give it a bit of a run,” said Dwayne, “then bring ‘er back and I’ll retorque the bolts for ya, wha.” I stood there like a stunned CFA for a bit while Dwayne and Troy grinned. After a thankful parting handshake with both, I returned to the SeaBreeze B&B with time to spare for a bowl of chowder before a live play at Cow Head’s amazing Nurse Myra Bennett Centre for the P

This was the finest B&B that we ever seen. It has luxurious fittings, lot of space, a huge bathroom with a hot tube. Great hospitality and wonderful breakfast. You should come! Guaranty you will not be disappointed.

Troy was there to check us in, and gave us an overview of the place and how breakfast works. You choose an option and book a time slot the night before. The room was lovely and clean, and the view from the front of the building was so beautiful! Right out onto the water!
