Best Western New Holmwood Hotel

This is a very friendly hotel, which has good rooms, an excellent kitchen, and plenty of parking. Right on the seafront, the terrace and (in wet weather, the lounge and dining room) is an excellent vantage point. The staff could not be more helpful and attentive. There are also a number of 13amp charging points for EVs, so take your granny cable

I have stayed at New Holmwood Hotel on several occasions and would recommend it. I have booked for my next trip already. If you want a quite hotel with experienced, welcoming staff in a stunning position on the sea front at Cowes this is the hotel for you.

Superb experience from check-in to check-out. The room was clean and in great condition. The food was superb. And the staff were all friendly and attentive. I'll definitely stay again.

Food is 5 star service is 5 star! Couldn’t fault it. Definitely would recommend this hotel. The food was so good all fresh ingredients and made on site (you could tell it’s made to order not re heated in microwave) steak cooked to perfection! Starters and puddings amazing and presentation 5 star! Will definitely be back. Took friends and family they all felt the same. Thanks

Very welcoming, excellent facilities for disabled guests in the room we had. lovely staff, lovely food. Had the weather been better, there is a lovely outside terrace to sit on which, along with the restaurant is open to Non residents. Looking forward to returning, later on this year if possible.

We have stayed at The New Holmwood Hotel Cowes on many occassions ans we wouldnt want to go anywhere else.. in our opinion the whole expereince is wonderful... its a beautiful, peaceful and the staff are all very kind... the rooms are beautiful and the food excellent..

We had our wedding here and it couldn't have been more perfect. The wedding package is advertised per person clearly, with no hidden extras unlike a lot of venues which you are unaware of prices until you contact them. Now to go into detail!! Julian & the team couldn't not have been more helpful or accommodating, they were totally amazing, nothing was too much trouble. (Especially the amount of emails I kept bombarding Julian with 😂). I made all the table decorations & they followed my instructions to the letter on where they had to go, despite me offering to help, I was told to go ready for the day!! I stayed with our daughters the night before the wedding in the Uffa Fox suite, which was then converted to our honeymoon suite. It was very spacious with a separate lounge area and a well equipped bathroom. The beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed which I slept on the night before the wedding!! We had full use of the hotel, so there were plenty of areas for guests to sit and chill between the day & evening receptions. Everything was so well organised and ran so smoothly I can't thank them enough, no stressed bride here! The 3 course meal was brilliant and we have had so many compliments about it "that was the best wedding food I've ever had", " the food was amazing, "everything was lovely and hot", "how did they manage to get all that food out at the same time?" To the point several guests have said that they are planning to go back there just to have food and one has already gone back for coffee & cake, saying she loved the atmosphere there. About a dozen of us stayed there after the wedding so had breakfast the next day, which was a great selection of cereal, fruit, yogurts and of course the good old full English (which was cooked to order and we were able to pick from the items available what we wanted on our plates). The responses to the breakfasts were exactly the same as the previous days about the food, amazing. One saying "that breakfast was delicious". Kim who was on breakfast duty was lovely. The other great thing about the hotel is it's actual location, amazing views across the Solent, right on the seafront and Scott a 15 minute flat walk into the town. So to sum it up, whether it's coffee & light bite, 3 course meal, bed & breakfast or full wedding package I would highly, well actually totally recommend the Julian & The New Holmwood team to look after you. ❤️

We booked to have our wedding at the New Holmwood Hotel. Best decision we made! Julian and his team were amazing! Julian coordinated our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and all queries answered promptly. The day was beautiful. It ran so smoothly thanks to Julian and his team. The displays were beautiful. The dining area gorgeous. The meal was delicious and service was fabulous. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this place as a wedding venue.
