Attentive service and always willing to help, call a taxi, take the bags .. Big room and bathroom, good shower with good water temperature .. also good bed but in the room we chose it was a double (it could be a queen at least).. They provide towels for the hotel's pool and beach, and you can also take them on walks, just register at reception. The beach at the hotel is beautiful, nice for snorkeling in the crystal clear water, lots of fish.. bar near the pool makes hamburgers, tacos and other things if you feel hungry in the afternoon.. sunset from the pool and beach is beautiful!! You don't need to make a reservation at the restaurants, but they do have a waiting list on the day. Seafood Restaurant was open for lunch only. The food in the restaurants was ok.. they don't provide transfer to the ferry.. taxi from the ferry costs about 100 pesos in 2022.

The hotel rooms are not so bad but the buffet food is really terrible. In the Italian restaurant the food is quite good, but it is an impossible mission to get a table, either it is closed or they only serve a few people.

The service was good, if you had no problems. But if you encountered a problem with the resort, they tell you to contact your travel agent. They are unwilling to help resolve your issues. Plus you are stocked by the resort time share people trying to get you to do a 90 minute tour. The food was unidentifiable, I would recommend sticking with things that you know what you are eating. Because they said they were out of chicken and beef, but the menu sign claims that it's chicken and beef? That was very confusing and I wasn't going to eat it! And my brother said it tasted like turkey lol 😆 yeah not me, I ate beans, rice and fruit 😋

It is an older facility that is need of upgrades. Some of the pools were nasty in that the water was cloudy, scum floating around on the surface. The cleaning/circulation pumps were not activated the whole time we were there. Started asking staffers the second day of the visit with no positve outcome. Will advise any patron to view pools prior to using.

Todos y cada uno de los dias ha sido desagradable para mi familia, desde el check in, te piden que hagas un pre-registro antes de llegar al hotel, subiendo tus datos e identificaciones para que te envíen un codigo QR para "agilizar" el ingreso y oh sorpresa, tienes que hacer tooodooo el tramite en la recepción del hotel, no te ofrecen una bebida de bienvenida y lo mas frustrante es que a pesar de ser socio te dan una habitación con una hermosa vista al tejado de la plaza de a lado. Las habitaciones son bastante pequeñas, me he sentido como en un departamento de desinteres social, la caja fuerte no funciona, la luz del pasillo esta fundida, la puerta de la habitacion se atora, la plancha de servicio no funciona y cuando me la cambiaron, al conectarla hizo corto circuito...en fin, en verdad se quitan las ganas de volver a este lugar. Punto y a parte merecen los restaurantes, la comida al textremo a veces muy simple, regularmente salada, el el restaurante italiano la carne muy dura, se tardan bastante en servir y en todos y cada uno de ellos, la atencion se vuelca en los huespedes extrangeros, seguramente buscando los dolares (he visto las generosas propinas de un dolar que dejan) ahora cargare billetes de $20 o de $50 para ver si asi cambia la atencion que me brindan, a pesar de que el paquete incluye "impuestos y propinas" Creo que hay que pensarlo muy bien antes de pensar en Grand Park Royal Cozumel como una opción para vacacionar, sobre todo si no traes dolares.

This is my very first vacation coming from Canada, I will definitely be returning. The only thing I will know is this more of a family friendly resort as pretty much everything shuts down at midnight & the bars dont open until 10am which was perfect for us but may not be for everyone.
