My husband and I arrived at Cozumel Palace last night. I know its early in a vacation to write a review, but I don't want to get caught up in the week without writing about our arrival. Our flight from New York was at 6am. Unfortunately, we missed our connection to Cozumel in Charlotte due to a ground hold at that airport. But the woman helping us at the American Airlines desk was fantastic and was able to get us on a flight to Cancun a few hours later. There are very few direct flights to Cozumel so we worked with that. That’s where The Palace came in to help. Our concierge, David, and the Diamond Elite office (not sure if that is the right name) arranged for our transfer to Playacar, ferry tickets to Cozumel and then transport to the hotel from the ferry. We arrived at this beautiful hotel after 7pm. Rosa checked us in and took care of everything. Our room was ready and Rosa had toothbrushes, paste and shaving supplies sent up since our luggage was a bit behind us. She then arranged dinner for us. There was a small issue with our room and Rosa had taken charge while we were at dinner and we were moved to another room last night. Between the woman at American, our concierge, David, and Rosa at the Front Desk, our convoluted trip to Cozumel is actually off to a wonderful start.
