We loved our stay at Altitude 1260 resort. The hospitality and friendliness of the hosts, the delicious home-cooked meals, which were perfect after a day of skiing and the picturesque location made for an exceptional holiday. Enjoying a glass of wine and cheese plate before dinner by the log-fire and taking in the vista particularly at sunrise and sunset was beautiful, and nature abounds with kangaroos, deers, and billy goats. Wild Brumby Distillery, the ski tube to Perisher and Blue Cow as well as Thredbo are all close by. An outstanding stay. We will be back!

I took my daughter up for a skiing weekend. The location for accessing the ski tube was perfect. No need for chains like when going to Thredbo. Amazing views. The lobby has many spaces and it was lovely sitting by one of the many fires in the evening. The nightly meal was very good. Simple but delicious. The hosts super flexible; delayed meal until the women’s World Cup football had finished. While there we had a health issue and Natalie was incredibly helpful; offering to drive into Jindabyne, allowed a late checkout, and organised for collection of our gear from the mountain. This attitude was present before, during and after our trip. Recommend the stay it was great.

From start to finish we were treated with respect and like family whic we were not expecting.. The location had amazing views and was very uniquely beautiful. We loved the hosts and the building it felt most like staying in the Austrian alps were the service is top notch. Gorgeous fireplace, paintings and decorations. Everyone in our family had a blast and cant wait to come back. Breakfast included was perfect too, delicious eggs, fresh bread, fruit, etc. what more can you ask for? And the view was epic of the lake and thredbo you could see it all. Def worth a trek up a dirt road to find Alpine paradise.
