We got a really good rate through the Trip website. Kelsey on reception changed our room because there was no bath in the first room. The staff at the hotel were very smartly dressed. The food at breakfast was excellent. We are two nights in Macleod. Again the food was excellent. We would recommend this hotel. The only negative was if you hadn’t booked a spa break you had to pay £30 each to use the pool.

We went to the Coniston Hotel for a few days break in June. Our room was gorgeous with a patio and view (can't wait for the summer sun). The atmosphere was friendly and everywhere was spotless. A lovely lady helped me with my dietary requirements (don't know her name but her husband had the same problem as me). I had Sunday lunch, with a few tweaks, and I have to say the roast beef was the best I have ever tasted, nice one chef. It was a lovely break in a lovely hotel with lovely people. Thank you, will be back.

Well my wife bought me a fishing day for my Birthday ,And my son arranged a boat and fishing robs and lunch for Father's day .we ,Was so looking forward to the day when we arrived at the hotel ,We was told they dont hire robs to fish my son had only booked them two days before . And was on the website Rods available to hire . The hotel wasn't interested that it was for my Birthday and fathers day .thereWasn't any customers service to make things right when We had drove over 1hour to get there .I just want to let other people know that how this hotel treats people We was offered 20% off are next visit very kind cost us more petrol .We will not be going back there . Bad Mangerment,Bad customers service .misleading information . Not somewhere we want to go back too .

Our stay here was unexpected but what a wonderful find, after the hotel we were meant to be staying in was dire. Reception went above and beyond to accommodate us - we even had adjoining rooms. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Fantastic and delicious choices for breakfast. Can’t rate it more.

Firstly thank you to the kind reception staff who gave us a beautiful room upgrade the staff on the bar and reception staff were outstanding, we also had use of the spa facilities which we just love one of our favourite spas ! Everything was love enjoying the drinks being brought to you is just a lovely touch, the treatments were also really amazing my husband said it was one of the best he had ! If am being really picky the only part I didn’t like was when sat in the bloom restaurant the girl severing us wasn’t the greatest sadly we could here complaining about other staff and hear her say the bar was left s**t hole s**t left all over the bar to another staff member and I can’t wait for my bloody break “ ! Which just spoilt the relaxing part of the spa and felt we were an issue. The view restaurant was just amazing my venison was just the best I’ve ever had and the pudding well just wow ! overall we really really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait for the next stay. We were even lucky enough to speak to the owner who was lovely checking that we were happy with everything, was a pleasure to meet him. Thank you again for having and we will be back soon for another am sure amazing stay !

We had a lovely time away at the Coniston,we stayed there for a wedding and the staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.we would advise anyone to stay there. A member of our family used the spa and loved every part of it.

Had a lovely day here for my Xmas present from my daughter. We both enjoyed 2 treatments and a day in the spa and thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry daiquiri outside sat in the sun. Friendly staff team looked after us would definitely recommend

The hotel and grounds are all spectacular. Some of the rooms however were dated, shabby and cluttered with oversized furniture. It was fine for 1 day but not worth the £200 we paid for bed and breakfast. Also worth noting the spa is an extra cost too and is not included for guests as standard.

We had a lovely time staying two nights at the Coniston Hotel and spa. We took along our two dogs who did embarrass us a bit but one is only 6 months old. Service and the little things meant so much. Our dogs loved the toys. Thank you it was a perfect anniversary.
