Mold on ceiling in bathroom, stain on towel and chair, mattress not comfortable. Lovely decor, staff friendly. Fine for a stop over. Location great for a wedding at the De Vere Cranage.

Rooms not like the website suggests. Eye tired and in need of attention. Food average and more staff needed at the bar.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff and lovely decor. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, served quickly. Rooms are tastefully done. One downside (Not the hotels fault) PEACOCKS they are nearby and the wake you up extremely early. Would stay again but ask for a room at the front rather than the back (further away from the peacocks.

This was a family Sunday lunch get together. I really enjoyed the Chestnut Mushroom and egg on sourdough (starter or tapas). My husband enjoyed the roast lunch, the vegetables were cooked to perfection. The meals did take a while to arrive however the small play area by the back car park, (though a little 'tired') kept the children occupied.

The best Sunday Roast since I can remember! Another enjoyable meal at the Vicarage. Just the two of us, my husband and I. Two courses for £22. The roast beef lunch was exceptional, nothing left on our plates. My Hubby chose the Fresh Fruit Salad (proper fresh fruit!) with sorbet for dessert and my choice was ice cream with sorbet (delicious). Plenty of choice on the menu, something for everyone! The staff were amazing. Nicola, Cat and Jemma were most pleasant, friendly and attentive. I took a note of their names as I feel they deserve a mention. Looking forward to going again soon. Certainly worth a visit!

Website for this hotel is awesome……! Pictures on the website are out of this world ……..! DON’T EXPECT THESE TO BE REFLECTED IN THE ACTUALS …… dreary run down rooms with marked furniture……..! DON’T expect this hotel to be nice. Its shocking Sports bar restaurant!!!!! While you sit and eat your food you could …. Watch the football on many of the TVs dotted around the pub This place is a sports bar with shabby rooms to sleep in What a total letdown after viewing the amazing website

There was nothing I could fault about my experience at the Vicarage. The service was great and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend. I had the sea bass and my partner had the vicarage burger. Both dishes were exceptional. We ended the meal by sharing the double chocolate cookie dough😋😋Many thanks to the team for looking after us.
