Hideaway Country Inn

My newlywed husband and I found this place on a whim and just wanted a one night getaway. The amenities were great, bed was extremely comfy in a romantic cozy atmosphere. Breakfast in bed was so delicious! Great service. We will definitely be coming back

We booked the Louis the XIV room and apon arrival the room was given to someone else.. I booked the room in advance. They told me someone with a handicap took my room since it was the only handicap room they have. I only booked the room for the Jacuzzi. They would not refund me my money so I called my bank and they refunded the money. If someone calls with a handicap and there are no rooms available, thats what you tell them. WE HAVE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE... Not take the room I booked and drove over 2 hrs... Debbie is the worst lady to deal with.. Please do not stay here. This lady need humbled alot... Read other reviews as well. There is alot of times they did not do the right thing.. Horrible customer service and Debbie is just plain awful to deal with. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

Very Clean and quiet place to reconnect with your spouse and yourself. The staff and owner are super polite and genuine. The property is beautiful and there is many couple activities on the property. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors playing life size chess or cornhole, a fire, or just enjoy the sunset and stars.

We absolutely LOVE the Hideaway Inn. We come every year for our anniversary and stay in a different room each time. It feels like a secluded, romantic getaway but, at the same time, feels like home. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean, the food is always great! The smallest details like the homemade soap and comfiest robes ever are what really makes this place stand out . We will be back again next year for sure!

Excellent bed and breakfast. Owner goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Bed is super comfy, and the atmosphere and surrounding area is beautiful. All in all, an amazing night away. Highly recommend in that if you’re in the area, you check out the Hideaway Inn!

This place is was amazing, the people that helps out and the Owner, can't as for anything better, beautiful place. Beautiful scenery. Quality quality of the place is amazing. And breakfast is home made everyday. Can't believe it's and a small town. But so Worth it.

I hidden gem the place was amazing and powerful. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back. The views were incredible. Hot tub was amazing. staff was great and very helpful. Town offers some nice shipping and food. It's a place to just go and relax

The pictures are not recent. We arrived to the air unit in the room not working. I called the owner immediately to get voicemail. I then texted. She did respond in a reasonable timeframe however she was defensive and abrasive about our request to have someone look at it. The power had been shut off at the breaker. Once the unit was running I went to close a privacy blind of our FIRST FLOOR ROOM only to find there wasn’t one even though there were clearly brackets from where there used to be blinds. I went to find the caretaker Mr Tony as Debbie was so rude and abrasive that I figured I would have better results with him. He called Debbie on speaker and she was simply out of line. I asked for a blanket for the window to hang off the rod for privacy and her response was that there was NO ONE IN THE PROPERTY. My response was that Tony the caretaker is on the property therefore I want privacy. This was not an unreasonable request. All the other windows have blinds on them. I then had multiple bugs in our room. Her response was that I knew this was a country inn and bugs are expected. She again was out of line in the direction of conversation. I’m a country girl who raises turkeys and chickens living on a mostly wooded lot. I understand country. I also understand pest control. I requested to cancel the second night and for a refund for that unused night and she pointed to the terms and conditions. Two nights was around $535.00. There was no way I would eat that loss. Her Mrs Hyde persona truly ruined what was to be our Father’s Day hideaway. Debbie showed up for breakfast on the second morning acting as if nothing happened all smiles and trying to pretend she did not treat us like trash. Dr Jekyll was out in full force. I read the reviews and truly thought there were “Karen’s” reviewing because they were so bad. Now I understand. I should have listened to their reviews. The hot tub doesn’t even have a proper drain. You have a rubber disc that doesn’t hold water.

This place is amazing. Very clean and comfortable. I'll give it 10 stars if I could! We will definitely be back!! The breakfast was great the rooms were spacious and they catered to anything we needed. The staff was amazing. It is sooo peaceful out there.
