Im only commenting on the price of the food in the bar. In the afternoon, a dessert plus a latte cost me over £16. That's very expensive. The latte alone was £5.50 . The service was pleasant and relatively quick, though there werent many in at the time. But due to the price, I wouldnt return.

Excellent hotel. Staff and so friends and attentive. The rooms was fabulous as were all facilities in the hotel from the restaurant to the bar. Food and cocktails a little pricey but that’s to be expected. We had stayed 2 nights so on the second day had full use of the spa to ourselves between check in and check out times. The spa is small but when quiet has everything you need, the water bed being our favourite. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for a 2 night break away. Staff team are so friendly and welcoming

Was no parking when arrived had to park on street, rooms were very very basic for amount of money paid 320 euro for one night , bathroom was nothing short of tiny , one good thing I’d say about the place was the spa although these days 8 out of 10 hotels have a spa , went for food in restaurant was nice but nothing I’d be in a rush to go back for then went for cocktails after, which worked out at 29.90 Sterling for two cocktails pint was 8 pound , wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t advise anyone to go

Really enjoyed our stay at the Old Inn. We had a lovely lunch on arrival. Reasonably priced and beautiful food and wine. Service was excellent. Friendly staff. Check in was at 3pm, concierge very welcoming. The room was nice but bathroom was very basic and few wee maintenance issues in room. Mattress was very firm and our room was just at top of stairs which meant noise was noticeable until after 2am. We visited the spa which had all required. Dinner that evening was absolutely delicious and staff again wonderful. Would recommend for a one night break. Would definitely return for food again.

Overpriced and under whelming menu. Even if someone else is paying we wouldn’t go back. Complained by email that we were very ill after eating the same dish and struck down at the same time. They did phone but obviously it had nothing to do with the food. Cannot prove otherwise but hardly a coincidence.

Visited on Saturday and we were greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who showed us to a table on the veranda (at our request) and he said a young lady would come and take our order. This is where the service went down hill having sat for 20 minutes a member of staff walked past and I ask him could we order some drinks "I mean ahh what do you mean I said some pints he stared at us like why do you want drinks at that point the young lady arrived and took our drink and food order which arrived in good time and tasted delicious (I should hope so at just under £23 each) We finished our meal and drinks hoping to order dessert and more drink but again a no show from the waiting staff (30 minutes this time) At this point we decided to leave and pay our bill Not sure I would return due to bad service and prices.

Only came for a return lunch food was delicious but builders radio and grinder near outside terrace drove us inside on a beautiful sunny day. Once in the beautiful oak panelled bar/dining room we found a lovely window seat but the rap music plus was FAR too loud. Not as we remembered but food and service was excellent. Someone told me once that you should never go back to somewhere you liked...maybe I've learnt.

I was here for the Spark Retreat by Pete Rollins in 2019 and again in 2022. This place is unstoppable in its charm, comfort and appeal. The staff are fantastic and the food is excellent. It's a quick walk to the sea, surrounded by great forests and farms. Just a quick ride to Belfast. Romantic, inspiring and restful

Booked through Blue Book one night bed and breakfast. Nice location close to Belfast and the coast in a very quaint village. First impressions lovely welcoming reception and lobby open fire and concierge. Would have been nice to have been offered some help with the bags as there is no lift and I walked past several times with several suitcases. Nice room, Old World. However, cleanliness was not up to standard. Incredibly dusty and rubbish left from previous guests, not what you expect from a galgorm property or blue book hotel. Dined in the bar, service was incredibly slow, and I had to ask for starters to be cleared. Staff friendly but seemed stretched. Food for the price is pretty basic, and quality was sub-standard. Overall experience way top over priced for the end experience. Breakfast Nice, really friendly staff, a la carte offering nice and good quality but the continental really strange offering. Ham Hock and Salmon Terrine, a strange offering on a breakfast buffet, in my opinion. Limited cereal, no selection of pastries or sweet options. It's just an odd selection overall. Shame as we had travelled a significant journey for a celebration with no gesture.
