I booked this place with my parents to celebrate my moms birthday and upon our arrival we were impressed. A few days in, things took a turn for the worst. My dad placed his money in his bag for us to head to the store but he ended up forgetting the bag. Thirty minutes later we get back and he goes to his bag to find ALL of the money missing (£570 and $360). How could the money be missing when it was left in his room? We went to the front desk and received no help! We were told the only cameras they have are in the hallway and nobody went to the room. That’s IMPOSSIBLE!!! The money was placed in the bag prior to us leaving and gone upon our return. After doing our own searching we realized the “smoke detectors” light changed color when we turn off the room lights and they seem to have cameras placed in them. Although the place is nice, they have illegally placed cameras in the rooms and their staff enters your room while you’re gone. They are a bunch of crooked thieves and did not assist us with getting any resolve! If not them, they were in on it for sure. I am going to put them on blast until the money is given back! DO NOT BOOK THERE!!!

Aparthotels beat the traditional hotel because they feel like a home away from home, particularly the ability to cook your own meals. We enjoyed our stay here because our apartment had everything we needed and was close to all amenities. We were impressed by the level and speed of communication as well as how seamless it was to check-in and out. Would happily stay here again.

Undoubtedly the communication and the online services by Westciti is excellent. They even had somebody to come and check the shower water at 9pm. This must be credited. But the apartment is struggling to be in good conditions: the dishwasher is totally not operational (although we’re not obligated to wash all the dishes, we just wanted to keep the apartment clean). The signs on the knobs of the oven completely faded out so we had to look up the manual on Internet to start it correctly. Then there’s no oven tray provided - they have 2 wire grids but no aluminium paper provided which might make the oven messy. Somebody complained about the boiling shower water here but we kind of fixed it ourselves - actually the knob is stuck with the hard water minerals. We turned it really hard then the water temperature becomes acceptable. The bed is comfortable though. It’s just the apartment darker than it’s shown on the pictures overall. That’s why I titled this comment: the photos look like the apartment is new but in fact the appliances are struggling here to survive. The microwave, the washer and the fridge are working well though. The checkin and checkout process is seamless and I like it. The 200 GBP deposit is unexpected and a bit overwhelming, but I think it is ok. They return it pretty quick. All in all it is a comfortable apartment as long as you can cope with the little problems left and right (I forgot to mention there is no lift for your heavy luggages), but it can be better.

it was a no frills apartment. equipment looked tired and needed replacement. electric stove top has a large crack from one end to the other. the doorbell didnt work and so i missed the postman a couple of times. there was no cleaning for the 13 days i was there. a resut of covid-19. but the location is super, a km frm eith west croydon or east croydon train station
