The hygiene was absolutely appaling, I understand that this is a *** hotel primarly for *** men to find each other and to chill and get together, but there was ***** stains on all of the sunloungers outside, the sauna and steam room had ***** all over the walls and smelled so dirty and clearly had not been cleaned at all. The sofa in our room and some of the walls had ***** stains, it just felt super gross. They charge you apparently for washing up liquid and I was given two single beds instead of a double which is what I ordered and they didn't seem to care, I had to chase to get an iron and ironing board even though I told them prior. Asides from that the location is great and the towels they give are fresh and are clean which is a plus I guess.
Spoke to company for resolution and got offered a VIP package instead of any money back which isn't good as I likely won't stay there again.

The service and staff were great, the cleaning was very good, the location is not bad, but it is not close to the beach, but if I want to make a negative review with the outdated state of the building, we were very disappointed that an establishment of the Axel group was In this state, we chose the establishment because it belongs to the Axel chain which has very good taste and decoration. The Axel Maspalomas leaves a lot to be desired and the apartments, bathrooms and interior of the building are very old and not renovated, it only has a slight facelift.
At this point, very bad and total disappointment for us.

The hotel needs some renovation, especially the bathrooms and the wellness area. Room temperature is extremely cold and no blankets to be found. Lucily the staff at the reception is extremely nice and caring that makes you forget the rest.

Me quedé aquí con mi novio por su cumpleaños el martes de esta semana, y la verdad que el trato impecable por parte de todos los trabajadores, en especial por Mari Carmen, en recepción, que fue súper atenta y nos facilitó muchísimo la estancia 🥰✨🥳 La habitación con vistas a la piscina nos encantó, y pudimos usar la terraza para desayunar ahí!! También cuentan con cocina equipada, por lo que se puede cocinar en las habitaciones también y ahorrar un poco en este aspecto 💪🏽✨ La ubicación genial, muy cerca de todo, y había aparcamiento en el hotel y también en la misma calle. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca, nosotros cenamos en uno al lado del hotel y también quedamos encantados ;) La piscina del hotel está genial, hay hamacas, camas y camas baño esas por un plus, pero valen totalmente la pena!! A nuestra salida también conocimos a Kevin, otro empleado de recepción también muy simpático, que nos recomendó muy buenos restaurantes en la isla para ir al día siguiente de camino al barco 🛥️
