I recently stayed 3 nights in this property and, despite the excellent location in the magnificent panorama of the terraces of Lavaux and Lake Geneva, I was very disappointed by my experience in this hotel. First of all, I would like to point out that the reception staff at the Augerge du Raisin is only present from Tuesday to Friday: therefore, both upon my arrival and upon my departure, I was forced to contact another nearby hotel, " Le Majeur Davel”, to be able to do a quick and superficial “check-in” and “check-out”. In fact, when you arrive, the hotel door is closed and only a telephone number to call is indicated. In general, during my stay, I never saw a member of staff smile at me, not even at the time of departure... the staff is rude and incompetent (try asking to use the property's car park... you will have fun laughing bitterly, seeing is believing) . The Monday after my arrival I had the misfortune of getting stuck, with my dog, in the hotel lift with a temperature of 30°: after several calls, the hotel staff (absent in the facility, I had to call the 'other hotel) simply advised me to contact the Schindler company from the elevator and have one of their technicians come; which, of course, I did but they told me that or I had to wait approx. 1 hour for the technician to arrive or that I could have asked, at my expense, for the intervention of the local fire brigade. Naturally, horrified at the thought of waiting 1 hour in that infernal cell, I called the firefighters, who, professional and very kind, quickly unblocked the situation and proceeded to send their invoice to the owner of the hotel. During this whole ordeal NO staff member showed up; worse, after that, they just pretended nothing happened and ignored me. On the penultimate day I decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant; I therefore contacted the reception by phone that same morning to make the reservation: the person in charge reserved a table for me inside since, unfortunately, there was no room left on the terrace. To my great surprise, upon my arrival for dinner at 7pm, the manager, in a truly rude and borderline rude manner, claimed that there was no reservation in my name: given that, while he was speaking, I recognized , in him, the person with whom I had made my reservation call, I reminded him of the content of the latter. He, after a pathetic attempt to further deny it, told me that I had misunderstood and that the reservation had been made at their second hotel... an inconceivable "nonsense". In the end they still "parked" me in a room all alone and after 2 and a half hours I was able to finish my dinner... an unpleasant adventure! In conclusion, I recommend the splendid region of Cully and del to everyone
