My family had an exceptional stay at the Shay over New Years. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by Carmel and Rebecca at the reception desk, who were helpful and friendly, including providing us with Waymo promo codes. The hotel is clean, modern and very well located in walkable Culver City. The room was equipped with everything we needed, and had a comfy window seat. Great Globalist benefits, including delicious breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. The Mediterranean restaurant was also very tasty. Highly recommend!

The hotel is modern, new, and beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful and the rooms are perfect. The beds are so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Beautiful boutique hotel in very convenient location in Culver City, right next to the Metro station, within walking distance of Culver City Steps, shops and eating places. Shared a room with my family member in a room with 2 double beds. Liked the modern vibe and design, room was reasonably spacious, loved the long cabinet below TV which doubled as a workspace. Bathroom was nice and spacious with good amount of counter top space. Didn't get to try the gym or pool as we didn't have time. Also didn't try the breakfast place as it wasn't included in my room rate. Our room faced inwards and was very quiet despite the Metro line running nearby. The service staff at hotel were very responsive and friendly. Excellent choice if you're staying in Culver City!

Didn't know anything about the hotel or Culver City. The Shay was great! Room was very clean and stylish. We didn't have any problems with noise that was mentioned, but we were on a higher floor opposite of train track side of building. Location was great for us! We went to a game at Sofi, lunch in Malibu, drinks in Culver City, cruise out to Catalina Island, day trip to Pasadena and dinner in Beverly Hills. Hotel was centrally located, lots of great spots to eat or have a cocktail, as well as drug store or grocery store if you needed anything there. Customer service was top notch! I wouldn't eat breakfast at Butterfly as it was overpriced for what it was, and there are much better walkable options in Culver City.

perfection - great place for business or personal - highly rec'd - staff was amazing and professional - food is great - one of the best hotel experiences ever - Culver City has become a central hot spot and the Shay is a perfect place to stay
