Keswick Hall is an amazing property if you are looking to stay just outside of Charlottesville in a quiet area but still have all the amenities you could ask for. Their rooms are beautiful with gorgeous marble bathrooms. So many little touches that make a difference like having controls for the room lighting by each bed. Breakfast at Marigold was delicious. We got coffees and pastries at the little shop near the lobby on our last morning which was also wonderful. The property is so peaceful and pretty to walk around. We haven’t gotten to enjoy the pools as we have only visited here in early spring but they are beautiful as well

Would be great if there was a coffee machine in the room.

Wow! What a spectacular experience. The horizon pool was a glamorous and fun place to spend a lot of our time. We enjoyed multiple lunches poolside and the waitstaff was attentive to bringing chilled carafes of water and checking on us (but subtlety so). We also enjoyed walking around the property, working out at the gym, and dining at Marigold. Our personal dinner favorites were the watermelon smash cocktails, tuna tartare, and truffle pizza! All of the food was so fresh, of the highest quality, and inventive. Jake (head of rooms) truly made our experience. He could not have been more hospitable, generous, and kind by ensuring we had a spectacular view, plush room, and treats to enjoy. I personally appreciate the resort's focus on the outdoors, wellness, and restoration. There is a classic, luxurious feel to the atmosphere but it also feels fresh and approachable. It's an ideal place to revive yourself and also spend quality time with those you love. My sister and I loved being able to do things together and just chat while relaxing. We kept saying, "we don't want to leave" and had to drag ourselves out of there. We will certainly be back and next time will make sure we book a massage and play tennis! We loved you, Keswick.

Will provide a detail review once I’m not fuming . I am absolutely FLOORED. I have never been so ashamed of an establishment in my life. Again, more details to come once I am level minded and explain the process. These people are something else.

The rating might not look great, so let’s clear that one up first. A truly beautiful, manicured property, from the golf course to the restaurants to the rooms. An elegant building with a great lobby, lounge and bar, not to mention Marigold, by Jean-George. The rooms are large and very comfy. A truly beautiful place from which to explore the history of the region. So why the 3*? Management feels there is no need to have coffee machines in the rooms. You wake, walk out on your terrace and then have to get dressed to go up to the coffee shop to buy a coffee to take to your room. It was a pleasure talking with Margaret, but coffee should be in the room at these prices! The other thing is the Spa. They have a steam room. I have 2 at home as they are very good for my chest. But they won’t let you use it, despite explaining the reason behind my request unless you spend a few hundred bucks in the Spa. You spend a grand a day or more, but no coffee and no steam. Really. Go to any 5* and you’ll get that. So 2 *s knocked of for that

Scenic & Beautiful Resort - All Purpose Resort. Amazing staff and facilities. Food is incredible. Golf Course is a real treasure to play. Other amenities such as pickle ball court, pool are all very nice. Relaxing experience.

Keswick fulfilled all my expectations--I was upgraded to a lovely, spacious room w/ view of golf course. The staff was extremely welcoming & accommodated all our requests. This is a pricey resort, but worth it if you want to splurge. Only drawback: the much-lauded restaurant added Asian-infusion to many standard American dishes, so read menu carefully. Try Restaurant 1799 @ The Clifton (a short drive away) as well.

Second stay for us. Last one was a fall getaway. The grounds are impeccable and the staff, from David at the door to Casey at the front desk and throughout the property, are warm and friendly. Looking forward to the next trip.

This was a great surprise! We chose to get away and went somewhere we don't normally go and were quite pleased by all of our experiences! The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, the grounds were beautifully cared for, the room was deep and comfortable and the Marigold restaurant was cozy with great food. I LOVE casual dress, outside seating and delicious food! The Egg Toast is the best! The only bad thing was that I didn't bring my bathing suit (cause it was March!) and the outdoor pool was OPEN! And WARM! Cray! I look forward to returning! Oh, great drinks in the lounge and on the outside porch. The bartender was rocking it!
