An excellent, cozy hotel – we returned again on our way back. The helpful staff helped with all our questions, and minor household issues were quickly resolved. Hot water, heating. Breakfast was good, by regional standards.

Good and bad points + hotel decor is traditional and nicely done. + lobby area nice + free coca tea for altitude sickness + 2 min walk to main square + good shower + decent breakfast - room has squeaky floorboards, you can hear people moving in their rooms around you - music from nearby pubs can be very noisy up until 2 am - rooms quite small Although I’ve mentioned some bad points here, I’m only being honest as these may be important to others but overall, we got great value for our £ staying here and would recommend to others when visiting Cusco. 7/10

You can find the minimum at this hotel. The location is quite good but the street outside the hotel is dirty and smelly. Although the room and the bathroom were clean, there’s a lot of noise outside also if your room is downstairs Breakfast is not good at all

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful staff, even with special requests. The center with restaurants and various shops is just a few minutes' walk away. Highly recommended.

We had a confirmed ******* reservation at Hotel Rojas Machupicchu for our family with two children. After traveling over 3 hours to Aguas Calientes, we received a WhatsApp message just 20 minutes before arrival saying our room was canceled due to “an ******* error.” When we arrived, the staff admitted fault but refused to honor the booking. Instead, they offered rooms in nearby hotels that were clearly inferior in quality and comfort. We were stranded with luggage and kids and had to scramble to book something ourselves at higher cost. ******* refunded us and gave $20 credit, but the stress and disruption was unacceptable. If a hotel can’t honor bookings or provide comparable alternatives, they don’t belong on international platforms. 📸 Photos attached – real guests, real failure.

Our family of 8 stayed here on our last night in Peru after trekking the Inca Trail. The Inn is lovely, clean, and comfortable. It’s a Peruvian Inn. This is not an American style hotel, so if that’s your expectation you’ll either need to readjust or be disappointed. The value was great for a large family. We were desperate for showers so the hot water was much appreciated but it turned off after about 5 minutes. We chalked it up to the quirks of a 400 year old building. Staff were friendly, they watched our bags for 3 hours while we walked around town. Access to the square was > 5 min walk. The breakfast was AMAZING. Honestly made the price completely worth it to fill the belly’s of 8 ppl. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea, antipasto, eggs, breakfast meat, and pastries. Delicious.

We stayed in a junior suite for 2 nights after returing from visiting Agua Caliente (Machu Picchu). The reception checked us in quickly and helped get our bags to the room that was on the second floor overlooking a quiet side road. The door to the room was on the main atrium brightly lit with a sunroof. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom with a large soaking bath tub. The shower was glorious: wet, hot and lots of flow from the rainshower head. We did the one block walk to the city square to forage for dinner at the Incagrill. Breakfast was in the atrium on the first floor. They changed up the main courses every day! After a day long touring of Cusco the next day we eat at the dinner for hotel guest only. The beef stroganoff was delicious. One serving was more than enough for both of us. We finished dinner with a banana brandy crepe with Ice cream. It was so nice after such a day and dinner to go just upstairs to our room. Also while we were out touring we got our week of laundry done by a very nice service arranged by the hotel reception. Sunday we got a special treat with a huge cultural event with marching band and dancer from all over Peru. Stay, dine, tour and enjoy the culture with the local business.

Stayed in Room 101, a room inside Casa Hostal Rojas. We booked two separate stays at Hotel Rojas Inn (before and after our trip to Machu Picchu) - first in a Quadruple Room and then in a Standard Triple Room. However, due to a broken water pipe, we were relocated to Casa Hostal Rojas, situated across the street and down the block. PROS: Room 101 at Casa Hostal Rojas seemed more spacious and quieter than those at Hotel Rojas Inn. We loved Sergio, the main worker at Casa Hostal Rojas, who was attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The room was well-equipped with multiple heavy-duty blankets for warmth and the balcony offered a nice glimpse of the main square. There was also ample storage space and the free breakfast buffet from 6:00am-10:00am was decent. CONS: The male staff member at check-in did not apologize for the transfer to the hostal, simply stating that it was the only available option. We also encountered issues with intermittent hot water in the shower. The frequent honking in the vicinity could be problematic for light sleepers. Additionally, although we appreciated the 24/7 hot water and coca tea, it was inconvenient to have to walk across the street and down the block to Hotel Rojas Inn to access them.
