Kandaya Resort

It an amazing resort very relaxing but need to improve water pressure in the bathrooms, overall still recommend to my friends and will definitely come back

This place is an enigma. The rooms are really nice. The design is modern with all the comforts of a high end hotel. Bed was incredible. The restaurant is good. Food is tasty and well priced. However, this place isn’t a great option to stay at in our opinion. Here is why; 1. The grounds and beach are terrible. Not a nice place to swim and nothing seems well maintained. 2. They charge for almost all the water sports. At the price we are paying we should be able to use the equipment. As a result the beach is dead. 3. Walking outside the resort and there is trash everywhere. 4. Nowhere to venture outside the resort to. 5. The staff are nice but poorly trained. 6. There is no a**osphere any where. My daughter did love the small zoo and the horses.

Too loud music every day, all day

I recently retired from working in the Hospitality Industry and was looking for a place to relax in comfort and peace. The Kandaya Resort is second to none when it comes to overall service and accommodations. The ocean view room was amazing and quiet with incredible views. The food and beverage and service was impeccable at their Restaurant. We had 2 spectacular dinners on the beach in a private setup. All of the staff go above and beyond to insure that your stay is amazing from F&B, Front Desk, HSKP and the amazing staff that care for the animals. A Big Thank you to Milamar, our server at the Restaurant, who always went above and beyond with great service to ensure that we had an amazing experience while staying at the Resort and traveling about in the area. Thank you to the entire Kandaya Team for also making our special occasion a memory we will cherish forever. See you again soon.

Our room was nice and spacious, and clean. Food was excellent, except for the Valentine's day dinner. There were two choices, and my wife had the pasta. Her pasta was cold and a lot firmer than al dente. The chicken parm was tasteless. My cheesecake for desert arrived at my table frozen. Can't even slice it with a knife. They should've stuck with native cuisine. My wife loves italian food, but that was nowhere near it. BTW, the front door entrance to our hotel is treacherous. The door landing was high, and you can't notice it because of the same color rug in front of it. I tripped on it, and bruised my toes. They should've at least put a sign there to watch your step. Ironically, it happened to my wife the next day.

Fantastic place with charming, polite and nice staff. Great restaurant with good Filipino food and a decent international menu. As a family of five we had one night on a Garden Pool villa and two nights in a bigger Sea Pool Villa. Both villas very nice, the sea pool villa a bit bigger than the other. Enjoyed bothered the private pool and the ocean swims. Good breakfast selection and good dinner. ATV was fun and the kids (12, 16,18) enjoyed paddle boards and kayaks. Great game room as well. All in all a great experience.

No wonder that this Hotel is the best in this town. Elegance, service is excellent, stuff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. everything was perfect . The most welcomed home experienced after being away In Philippines for 4 yrs. This hotel is outstanding. The employee name Mark gave us his outstanding service. Great job to all the stuffs as well.

Their hospitality touches my soul. The weather was bad when i was there, but I enjoyed my stay because of the friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The food was great. I had fun at their kare-kare presentation. There were water sport activities too.
