Buena Vida Resort and Spa

A nice and quiet hotel. Services ladies are friendly and accommodating. Guys help to transport luggage to ferry station for free, bonus services. Of course, tips are appreciated. For breakfast, you have to walk to ocean vida hotel. The room is clean, but a bit small. It is at good location to the beach, diving shops and market. We did diving, we had blasting days in the sea.

Buena Vida truly offers the best experience you can expect from a 3-star hotel. Keep in mind that Malapascua is a remote island, and almost everything has to be brought in from outside. Despite this, the resort does an excellent job of creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere with its chill and calming Buddha-inspired decorations. The entire island is covered in sand, and while the staff at Buena Vida work tirelessly to keep the property as clean as possible, you should expect some sand to find its way indoors, even into your room. This is just part of the island experience. Additionally, the tap water is slightly salty, so I recommend using the drinking water provided by the hotel for brushing your teeth. The staff here are absolutely wonderful—super friendly, attentive, and helpful. A lovely touch is the small piece of cake they prepare for guests each evening, which makes you feel truly cared for. If the resort could upgrade their mattresses and pillows to something more comfortable, it would be perfect. With that improvement, I would happily give this place 5 stars and visit Malapascua more often!
